We had an amazing stay at Vila Alpina. Staff were incredibly kind to let us check in early (we arrived very early in the morning) and organise a breakfast basket to be delivered to our room. Beds were comfortable and the entire villa extremely clean. 5 stars, highly recommend! Thank you for such a great stay.

Nice, newer property in a residential part of Bled. We walked from the property to circle the lake and visit the castle. Found a great restaurant within walking distance too. We were very comfortable in our room.

Nice Stay Next to the Lake
Great location, nicely renovated spot. The staff was so helpful and provided us with lots of recommendations that were great and having dedicated parking was excellent. Our main complaint was the lack of window screens. The windows were open in our room when we came in and there were several truly huge bugs inside. The walls in the basement room were also pretty thin so you could hear everyone else but for the price it was a nice stay!

A clean and well maintained hotel near lake Bled and about 25 minutes walk from the Bled town center. Satisfactory for the most part, except that the room was not cleaned every day. This was surprising considering that we paid EUR 120 per night in January.

Close to lake bled, good option.
Decent place to stay for lake bled. Location is close to the lake but a bit of uphill walking involved. Not the best to walk to this place if you have luggage, better to have a car. The room would almost be perfect, if only it didn’t have the worst bed and bathroom linen I’ve encountered in any hotel.

Beautiful modern property with caring owners. No restaurant onsite but owners recommended servers restaurants to try. Large fridge in room was handy. I would recommend not staying in the downstairs front room as you year noisy people coming home and up the front stairs

Charming Villa tucked in on a quiet street, close to everything on Lake Bled. It was just perfect for the few days that we stayed. Has a nice terrace with tables to have breakfast or a snack. Very clean. Peter was super accommodating. Highly recommend.

Quiet Hotel
A quiet place to stay in Bled. A bit far from town, but, if you have sufficient time, it should not be a problem. There is an excellent restaurant (Sova) and a Mercantor (7-11 type convenient store with morning pastries) nearby - about 10 min. walk. Both have limited hours, so please visit during the early evening hours. The guesthouse (as I would call it) keeps a stock of tea bags in a common area, so if your room's supply ran out, there is still an availability during off-hours. Further in town (approx. 20-25 min. walk), there are several eating options including Zima (a coffee shop with excellent pastries) and Spica (great venison goulash, must try!). The hotel is ideal for walks in the area and taking a bus to Ukanc where one could hike and see Slap Savica (a beautiful waterfall). I enjoyed my stay at Bled, and would likely return to this hotel if I plan another trip to Bled.

The manager kindly booked us for late dinner the first night, which we are so thankful since we made friends with the staff at that restaurant and the food was great! The hotel is walking distance from everything and the stroll is so pleasant and lovely to and from the lake area.

Our New Year short break
Vila Alpina was an excellent choice,location was superb. Bled and Bohinj were beautiful places and we would like to see more of Slovenia. The restaurants that were recommended to us were 10/10 with great wine.

Beautiful, clean, new hotel.
This place is beautifu and cleanl. And its a short walk from the Lake and the bus route along the lake. It was raining when I arrived, so once I checked in I just stayed in the room and enjoyed the huge TV, the fridge and the natural ambiance of my room. I also enjoyed the heat! It got quite cold while I was there. I definitely enjoyed this as a place to relax. Only downside is no breakfast. Seems to be unusual to find a hotel with no breakfast in Slovenia. But there is a different hotel across the street that offers breakfast (14 Euros) if you really want it.

Lovely room in a perfect location
We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Alpina! The location was perfect - even though it's not in the main town area, Lake Bled is really about the nature. This hotel is perfectly situated for all of the hikes, boat tours, and sights. I'd really recommend staying here over staying in the town, which is only a 20-30 minute walk anyway. Our room was beautiful, cozy, and VERY comfortable. I travel regularly for business and pleasure and this was the best bed I've ever slept on outside of home. The only complaint we had was with one aspect of the service. There was no coffee during our entire stay. We kept asking when it would be replaced, but they never bought any new coffee. We had a lot of early mornings and late nights, so this was a bit inconvenient. We would have bought our own if the staff hadn't kept assuring us it would be replaced. However, this is NOT a reason to avoid this hotel. If we return to Lake Bled, we will definitely be staying here.

Great walkable location in spite of some annoyance
I loved my stay in Bled and this hotel was the cherry on top. The location is a 10 minute walk from the end of the lakefront stores and restaurants. It’s in a quiet, residential area that feels safe and super clean. The Villa is new and the rooms modern and well appointed. Please do take note though of the strict checkin hours and also the hold on your card at booking. Even though I selected the option to pay at the hotel, the amount of my stay was taken from my card as a hold for about a week or so. This was done a week or so after booking and a month of so before my stay. Also there are strict checkin hours which is a bit annoying to coordinate. Luckily the staff was Accommodating and allowed me to check in late (8pm). There’s also a fee for parking even though there’s a private car park on site. In spite of these annoyances the room was great. The bed comfortable, shower hot, and the room was clean and stylish. It’s a great option for a Lake Bled stay!

To explain the necessary details - regarding the credit card hold: the amount was not taken from your card, it was only reseved for guarantee, that is all. A standard hotel reservation procedure. The payment is still upon arrival, as stated in your reservation. There you can also find the statement that the accommodation reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card prior to arrival (reserve the amount). Our room was amazing, it was extremely clean, comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. Our room also had access to the outside terrace. The villa itself is about a 5/10 minute walk to the lake. Checking in was very smooth and we were also able to check in early as our room was ready. Would definitely recommend
