"The hotel is really what you would expect it to be. Just run down. The bathroom fixtures weren’t even attached to the wall. The shower head was just hanging and there was a gaping hole. Same with the faucet. The towels were dirty and the room was just humid and damp. The door alarm kept going off and since it was the weekend we were told maintenance wasn’t available to fix it until Monday.
But on our 2 nd night there was a giant spider- and it disappeared. It was literally the biggest spider...
"The breakfast was good, and there is hot and cold water available at all times in the lobby. Everyone was friendly. Parking is good.
One single elevator and it was a little slow.
My room looked like it had not been vacuumed in a while. There were crumbs on the couch and carpet, general dust and hair in the corners.
Beds and bathroom were clean."
"As others have commented, the appearance is of an old-style motel, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and clean, plus super affordable! My room was very large, with two supremely comfortable double beds, a round dining table for two, a desk, microwave, and fridge, and even with all that, there was plenty of open space. Luggage rack included, and I appreciated being able to park right in front of the room and having therefore to move the luggage only a very short distance."
"Fairfield is a beautiful hotel, especially when compared to others in its class. The long rooms are spacious with large walk in showers. Our bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and dark. Complimentary breakfast Sunday morning was good. There were ham, veggie and cheese frittatas along with turkey or pork sausage, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, lots of condiments and the usual waffle, bagels, muffin and cereal assortment. Coffee is good and you can get tea in the evening, really nice...
