Although the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, overall, it seems as if there is a lack of standards and processes. I stayed for over 10 days at the hotel and I noticed that the daily room cleaning was inconsistent. Turn-down services were sporadic, few times the shades were lowered and a little pastry was left on the bed. As we did not eat it, it was left on the nightstand for several days. Upon returning to our room at night, on several occasions, we found some dirty glasses and cups which apparently have been taken out by room service but never picked up. In our room, the box of tissues only had two or three tissues left and when we ran out, instead of providing us with more, the box was removed altogether. In terms of room maintenance, the carpet was so extremely dirty that my socks were stained just by walking a few steps inside the room. The wallpaper was peeling off in the walls.
At the restaurant for breakfast, the service was attentive, but again, it seems as if they lack standards: more often than not, we had to request silverware, napkins, etc, as the staff did not replace them after the previous patrons using the same table had left. It was a struggle to find glasses for juice and very often we had to wait for a long time until empty food trays and warmers were refilled.
