"Restaurant was well decorated, the staff was very friendly and food was delicious. We did 3 tours and they were all great. Tour payments need to be paid in cash or through a phone call, which seemed unusual but worked fine."
"We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. "
"We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. If you come, don't miss the ATM cave tour - amazing adventure!"
"This hotel is the most unique and special place I think we’ve ever stayed! The property is absolutely beautiful. The five sisters waterfall on property takes the place of a resort pool and it is the most gorgeous and peaceful place to spend a day. We ended up spending two full days down there since we loved it so much. The rooms are beautiful. My husband was nervous about how hot it might be without AC, but it was not a problem at all. The service was incredible. Most of the staff at the hotel knew all four of our names and treated us like family. If I had to get a con, for us Americans, the drive into the property was challenging. I definitely recommend not doing it at night your first time and taking it very slow. But we did it multiple times over our stay of four nights and we were fine as long as you go slow. The only other issue we experienced was the tram to take you down to the waterfalls was broken during your thing. That seemed to be a fluke, but it was very disappointing as the steps up and down a challenge and there was no food or drink service down there. But we would absolutely stay here again! We were there with our two teenage daughters and it was everyone’s favorite place we have ever stayed! "
"Sweet Songs was absolutely perfect for my trip to Belize. My room was always clean, there's plenty of wildlife around the resort including toucans and kinkajous (definitely take the night hike!!), and the pool is always a great option when not taking excursions. Breakfast and lunch have the same menu (both with great options) and dinner has a rotating menu that never disappointed. The entire staff is amazing, but Mason, Rita, and Esmeralda always went above and beyond :)"
"We had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The staff were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, especially when it came to booking tours and giving great local recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The restaurant was absolutely delicious, with excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again."
"If you’re going to the cayo district for a few days of adventure and truly want to experience the jungle as well as world class Belizean hospitality, please look no further.
The Crystal paradise resort truly has it all. From accommodations, scenery, hospitality, cleanliness, and value for quality, this place can not be rated highly enough. Not to mention this is one of the few fully Belizean owned family tourism business remaining in the region. Multiple generations of the Tutt family have put their lives into this place, and it shows.
Even as someone who is not a “birder” it is easily appreciated. They have designed the resort to bring the jungle to you. While you are eating your meals, unbelievable birds come right up to the deck to eat or bathe. You fall asleep to serene jungle sounds and wake up to the birds chirping.
This place is a hidden gem and if you’re looking for a quiet, magical, friendly jungle experience, this is where you want to go. "
