"I have traveled extensively and stayed at 100s of hotels - this place is a top notch little place- the owner manager is 100% hands on and you can tell. Comfortable bed, comfortable room, big TV with Netflix, hot water with good pressure, coffee maker, hot water pot, hangers and even a tooth brush!!!, book of notes with amenities nearby. Nice courtyard, great parking, excellent location if you are on the road from here to there. Did not have time for breakfast but the restaurant looked great....
"Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly!
The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference."
"Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."
"The building and exterior of the property are beautiful. Like a countryside serenity. I loved eating outside at the restaurant everyday. The restaurant staff were amazing and cooked great food, very accommodating to my vegan diet. I came here for a wedding nearby, otherwise there would’ve been nothing to do in the remote area.
My only complaint was about the room- they were very dated and did not come with a coffee machine, no fan, no AC. Dated not in a nice antique way, they just looked like...
"Comfortable stay in a cozy cottage. The room is equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle. Breakfast is very good. We also had a nice dinner in the hotel pizzeria with an affordable price.
The only disappointment is a pool. It is small and crowded, and water is too warm."
