"The room was lovely, bright, clean and with an outstanding view. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant and included breakfast was also wonderful and very convenient. The only downside to thus hotel is it’s lacking some amenities, (hot tub, in room coffee), however we would absolutely stay again. The location just off the tram stop made it also easier to get to than other remote hotels in the higher Lauterbrunnen valley. We will be back! "

"We were only in Switzerland for a couple of days as part of a larger trip but the Hotel Bären was ideally located to explore the Interlaken region and for hiking around Kandersteg. The views from our room were stunning and the area was quiet and relaxing. It is preferable to have a car when visiting as the hotel is 15 minutes or so up a relatively twisty road. The staff were friendly, check in/out was straightforward and the breakfast was really good! "

"What a beautiful hotel in a lovely, quiet town. Honestly, there wasn't much to do in Hilterfingen - which was exactly what I wanted. The Bellevue is so pretty - charming old building - but so very comfortable. My room wasn't billed as having a lake view - which meant that it was on the side of the hotel. But what I had was a very comfortable balcony, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains on one side, and the charming Hilterfingen Kirche on the other! I could not have been happier...
