"This is a fantastic little B&B. The lady running the place was ever so friendly, helpful and patient with our efforts to communicate in Spanish. Each room has its own private entrance, so you feel like you have your privacy. Although there's no air conditioning, you can manage the summer temperatures somewhat by keeping the shutters down and the windows cracked open. The "lavender room" we stayed in had heart-shaped rugs and pillows, and even a heart-shaped bath. It was great! Breakfast...

"Very good clean comfortable room with excellent A/C. The only problem we found was they do not serve meals and there was very little to choose from locally without going out in your car. We did try the restaurant next door but it was a little quirky and not everyone's liking, but the food was good. It is very close to the ferry and well signed. All in all a good overnight stop if traveling to the ferry. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel - and I let the reception staff know how much we liked it on checking out. The beds were comfortable, the shower was efficient and it was good to have two chairs in the room to relax in. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet. No hot dishes but that was fine with me. Nice breads, cereals, cold meats and fruit. I don't understand, though, why hotels in Spain (of all places!) don't have grapes in the buffet. Nicely located too away from the biz but...

"Great location for museums, art galleries and the ferry. Breakfast was good but no baked beans or mushrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but there was a screw loose on the toilet seat and the bathroom door was warped. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

"The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a very welcome ceiling fan cooling the temperature. We were arriving late (then my flight was delayed further) and were asked to check in online before 11.00pm but this was complicated and wouldn't work for me. But all was well and there was someone on duty at reception to check us in. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Good location - easy walk into town/waterfront and plenty of buses nearby. Only negative was very limited cooking equipment and absence of cloths for wiping/cleaning. A kettle, cups/mugs and wiping cloths would have helped."
