"We werent expecting a lot considering how much we paid but the rooms were not clean. The shower had hair in it, there was tooth picks left from the last guests, and the smell was not pleasant. We had to tell ourselves it was just for the night and to just rest our heads. When we got up for breakfast it was not a very big selection and the food was very blan and not good even the juice tasted funky. We will not recommend or stay here again. We will definitely be spending a bit more money for more cleanliness and better food as well as hopefully a little bit more comfortable beds."

"Stayed on the second floor of two floors. No elevator access where we stayed. Had to take our stroller up and down stairs every time we left. Pool restaurant and bar closed at 5pm. Pool is salt water and not heated. Beautiful resort and very well maintained. Staff were fantastic. Recommend for anyone with kids, San Diego Zoo and Sea World we’re about a $15 Lyft away. $45 Resort fee per day is ridiculous because it is taxed at 15%"

"The room was a decent size and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast options and love that they have a Starbucks. Check-in and check-out was very easy. My only critique is that they need better insulation between the rooms, especially the ceiling for those heavy footed folks who are staying above you. I also note that there are no restaurants or shopping in walking distance. "

"The room was clean and renovated. Property outside looks a little run down. Good central location. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean but smelled a little funny. TV channels are difficult to figure out. Staff were kind and efficient. Does the job for a very reasonable price. Would stay here again if just looking for an affordable place to stay. Isn’t very walkable but close to Mission Bay Park."

"I was impressed with the lobby decor, room sizes and conditions, and the cleanliness; a microwave in the room was a plus. The hotel's location is also pretty convenient; there’s a Zion market next to the hotel, and it's easy to get onto the highway. There is a $25.00 parking charge per night, which I was not aware of when I booked the hotel on Expedia. Until nighttime, the room has no noise control, and very thin walls. We can hear everything in the adjacent room, and the guests were up late. From 11pm to 2:30am, they were talking on the phone, with each other, bathroom sinks running, flushing toilets, and the TV. Someone else probably complained to the front desk, because I heard the phone ring before 1 am, but the guests didn’t stop any of the activities after the phone call. It was exhausting for us lying in bed and listening to every sound from next door. For this reason alone, I’m for sure not going to stay at this hotel ever again."

"The parking lot is sketchy. The rooms are horribly upgraded. I reserved the queen kitchenette and was told my room wasnt ready when i checked in at 3pm and was told to come back. I told them no. I traveled over 7 hours with a baby. This pleace is absolutely horrible, getto as hell. Half the people here LIVE here permanently. One is a creepy old drunk guy that does not stop talking. They do not serve breakfast as advertised. They wont clean ur room or give you anything extra or clean towels. You have to walk to the office and get it yourself. The phones dont work. Just dont. Go elsewhere. This place absolutely SUCKS. Stayed here 3/27/2026. "

"This was my second time staying here. The first time everything went well. The second not so much. There was a huge roach that I saw run across the room. I called the front desk and they did offer to move me and I did only because I was there for an important event and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of getting a new hotel. Staff handled it great. I know it is not their fault. House keeping told me it was because the shower didn’t have a cover on the drain. I was very uneasy about the situation and didn’t unpack. I even kept my purse zipped because I didn’t want to take anything home with me. I will not be staying here again. This situation is unacceptable to me. "
