El Staff que tienen lastimosamente son muy groceras y no ayudan ni brindan ayuda. Muy bonito el local pero si no cambian al personal lo va a terminar dañando. Fuimos un grupo de compañeros de trabajo que ibamls a hospedarnos 4 cuartos y decidimos mejor irnos por su trato con el cliente.

Buenos Días Sr. Guillermo Verdaderamente somos un Hotel Pequeño, Y siempre hemos estado comprometidos en ayudar a nuestros Clientes,Lastimosamente en lo que ustedes deseaban que les ayudaramos estaba fuera de nuestras manos Ya que nos solicitaban que le hiciéramos un descuento montado en la tarifa ya establecida por Expedia, Monto que no puede ser modificado directamente con nosotros , ya que tenemos que respetar las políticas establecida por el medio que crearon la reserva. Ante mano le pedimos mil Disculpas si por este motivo a sentido que hemos sido groseros.Estaremos siempre con la intención de ayudar a nuestros clientes siempre y cuando nuestra ayuda se encuentre en nuestras manos.Un saludo Cordial de parte del Hotel La Casa de la Abuela.

Great staff. Room leaves more to be desired
While the staff was amazing, the condition of the room needs to be improved greatly. The rooms are showing their age. Bad smell from the drain. Rooms are very small and ours had no a/c. The standing fan was extremely dusty and made me sick overnight. However, the staff went above and beyond to help us. When they couldn’t get us a taxi, one of them drove us to the restaurant. It is also very close to the main town and walking distance to everywhere in town. Breakfast was adequate but I’ve had better in most bed and breakfasts. This did not seem worth >$100 and I would have been happier if the value for money was present. It wasn’t.

Very modest, but clean
Renovated and attractive looking, but only outside and in the common area. Rooms are far cry from the picture shown. Breakfast passable but no butter or any other condiments are offered with the tost. No extra services or information offered. Minimal interaction.

The view from my room was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. The Panamanian lady at the front desk was VERY friendly. Did not speak English BUT had an app that translated. I also had Google Translate which worked very well. She was Great! Was surprised to see that they also have a very small store with necessities. I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly and helpful staff, first morning no hot water, second morning ok, breakfast free, good coffee and fruit, but the fried waffle? and sausage were awful.

Quiwt, Just off the main street.
Pleasant stay. Decent breakfast included. It was a short walk to the restaurants and bars. Would recommend to anyone having a short stay in Boquete.

Nice little hotel in a very accessible location. Staff was nice and helpful. Saw some nicer hotels while driving around, but I'm glad I was closer to the main part of town.

Noisy neighborhood: there was a party in town which made it hard to sleep with window open at 2am. On the roadside the hotel is rather noisy. I was on the back side and it was OK for traffic noise but there was this party at least until 2:00 am-. I left afterwards. The hotel staff was very friendly throughout.

Hotel staff was accommodating but not extremely friendly. The hotel was ok, looks better in photos, but fairly inexpensive for the area. It's a bit noisy since its right on the main road and also had a tiled inner courtyard that can get a lot of rolling baggage in the morning.

Desk staff knew no English but that is more my problem that theirs. Place looks a little run down outside but is quite nice inside. Close to old Panama and major highways. Breakfast was a lovely omlete.

Convenient and adequate
Nice little place, nothing fancy but that's not what I was looking for. The location is in town so I was able to walk everywhere with the exception of day trips/excursions. Breakfast is usually eggs, toast, fruit, coffee and juice (but until 9am only). There is no food available after that, not even snacks for purchase. My only negatives: the neighborhood dogs and roosters make it pretty difficult to sleep past about 7:30. But the hotel cannot control that. The building itself is pretty "hollow" so you can hear people talking downstairs, or hear their footsteps even when you're in your room. Funny how many people drag their feet. I would stay here again.

GREAT BREAKFAST!
I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Abuela. The staff was extremely friendly and professional; willing to do almost anything to make your stay better. The breakfast was the best I've had at any restaurant for quite awhile. It's a full breakfast, all you can eat and more. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
