Original mid-century modern construction and decor throughout. Very clean. Good parking. Being winter there were a few amenities but that was fine. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was outstanding even though a very limited menu. Included breakfast was great. Beautiful views of the dolomites from every window
Great value in the Dolomites! The hotel is stunning, with clean and spacious rooms. The balcony view is incredible. Enjoy complimentary breakfast and a welcome drink in the evening. The staff is very friendly. If you want to avoid high prices in Cortina, which is only a 20-minute drive away, this is the perfect place. Plus, there's free parking!
A cool refurbishment job on an old property. Lobby, bar, dining hall all very cool while being cozy and inviting. Rooms are a bit small, but most all come with a small balcony to view the beautiful mountains rising in the distance.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boite! Having the half room for breakfast and dinner was not only convenient, but also SO good. Breakfast had lots of options compared to a regular buffet, and it was some of the most quality European pastries we’ve ever had. Dinner was also unique dishes and very enjoyable.
Excellent stay at hotel Boite. Great location with easy access to Cortina D’Ampezzo. Lovely staff. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay another 2 nights!
Such a great stay. Only caveat is it’s very isolated from the town so you have to drive to go anywhere outside the hotel. Very nice staff. Great views and food was very good. Loved breakfast.
Will be back soon!
Very quiet and peaceful setting. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Room was nice but very warm and unable to control temperature. We loved the bar/lounge area and the staff working on the bar were fantastic! It would have been good if the hotel offered an alternative dinner option to the their set menu e.g. pizzas or something cheaper and more convenient, as there were limited options locally for dinner without having to drive. Overall we had a great stay here, and would definitely visit again.
I really liked the balcony which allowed me to leave the door open at night. Room very comfortable. The hotel is on top of a hill and is isolated: restaurant has a fixed price dinner and other options are a far walk.
The desk people were puzzled by requests for ice. Not super friendly.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Very quite and great view of the mountains
Staffs are very nice.
The only 1 thing could be improved is the facilities- it’s a bit old. Especially the bathroom - everyday we find it challenging to use the bathroom. Toilet - very slow, we had to let it run for a long time lol. Shower- nice pressure but the space is too small.
This hotel was built in 1963 and while it is an interesting example of that era, the hotel is badly in need of an update of facilities. The toilets do not flush effectively and there is no refrigerator nor any kind of cooling system which made for an uncomfortable stay during the heat of summer.
The staff at this hotel were amazing however and did their very best to assist us in every way. We wish to thank them for their kindness and consideration.
The morning breakfast was very good and is highly recommended.
Public transport options are very limited if you do not have a vehicle.

Comfortable Stay but Dated Furniture
The hotel itself is quite old and the furniture reflects that age, but overall, it was fairly comfortable.
One of the highlights was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of croissants - a real treat for anyone who enjoys a good pastry in the morning.
The housekeeping service was diligent, with the room being cleaned every day. However, there was no option to indicate that I didn’t need the room cleaned daily. The towels were also replaced daily, even when I hung them up to reuse (rather than leaving them on the floor). Eventually, I had to leave a note to let the staff know that it wasn’t necessary to change the towels every day.
Overall, the stay was comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable, but the hotel could benefit from updating its furniture and offering guests more control over the housekeeping services.
Stayed here for a hiking trip to the Eastern Dolomites. The hotel itself is very picturesque with mountain views from the lobby terrace and from our room balcony. the common areas are very modern and spacious with a hotel bar that was a common place for guests to hang out in the evenings (but was never too loud even though our room was very close to the lobby). Included breakfast was excellent. Free parking out front. As others have said, the rooms are definitely outdated in appearance, but everything was clean and comfortable and functional.
The main downsides were:
1) The rooms have great mountain views but given the location they get a lot of afternoon sun and it was really hot/stuffy in August. Even with the balcony door open all night it was hard to sleep due to the temperature in the rooms overnight.
2) Not a very convenient location for Dolomites hikes (everything will be ~20-25 minutes farther away than Cortina). Also the hotel sits high up on a hill so it's not great for walking to restaurants/supermarket, but parking in town was very easy and the drives were short.
We had the most stunning stay at Hotel Boite. We were here for our 1 year anniversary and it felt so special. The staff were incredible at marking the day & always so helpful & friendly. We loved having the hotel as our base to explore the Dolomites, would definitely recommend having a car to get around! We loved using the spa facilities but you do need to book in advance & have to pay to use it. We can’t wait to plan our next trip here!
Misleading information on hotels.com, as the spa/pool is not located in the hotel but a drive away, and it’s not included in the stay - you have to pay for entrance. The rooms are old and uncomfortable. The restaurant had a «cantine» vibe over it. We don’t understand how this can be a 4-star hotel and would not recommend it.
