"Great location, great value, the standard room we had was small but we only slept there so no problem. The bathroom had a slight damp smell and the shower had a small leak but it really wasn't a problem for a weekend break"

"The room was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the breakfast staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. However, the shower water pressure was extremely weak—more like a gentle trickle than a proper shower. As someone with long hair, I found myself spending nearly twice as long showering as usual. After the first night, I mentioned the issue to the front desk and asked whether it might be possible to change rooms. They told me a technician would come and take a look. I’m not sure whether anyone checked it, but unfortunately nothing improved during the rest of my stay."

"Easy to find and very convenient to Gare Saint Jean. Room was clean and well appointed. I appreciated the cold bottle of water in the room fridge. I was on the 5th floor and there was some odd noise upstairs but later I realized it must be the restaurant on the 6th floor. It did not keep me awake. I can recommend this place."

"Check in really late at 4pm and check out 11am and not flexible. It’s very central however all windows are covered no daylight access - wish there was net curtains at least - once you move solid curtains there is privacy"

"A small hidden gem in downtown Bordeaux, just steps away from the Place Gambetta. Very intriguing how the old thick stone walls gave a comforting feel, and how well they paired with the inside and the tasteful setup. The old stairwell alone is awesome! Definitively high on my list of places to stay for my return."
