Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. "We spent a most enjoyable two days at Bossington Hall.
We loved the authentic grandeur of this Arts & Crafts home and the genuinely warm welcome.
The staff ensured our stay was relaxed with the most impressive and comfortable bedroom. The breakfasts were quite exceptional, and the grounds were a joy.
If you are happy to stay in during the evenings, a range of light snacks is available and an ‘honesty’ bar ensures you will be well catered for. If you want a more substantial supper, then it is worth giving some advanced thought to where you might eat locally. There are plenty of choices, but booking is advised in a busy season.
For our vacations, we look for history, authenticity, a touch of grandeur and welcoming staff. Bossington Hall exceeded on all fronts, and we very much look forward to returning.
