This is my second time staying here during the Boston Marathon weekend. It did not disappoint. The staff was extremely professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The housekeeper noticed that I was a tea drinker and she left me many varieties to try. Also, after the marathon, without even asking, she provided a thick blanket to elevate my legs and a bucket of ice to help my sore muscles! I was so grateful! There were plenty of other things that I enjoyed about this hotel - namely the fitness facilities. The sauna, pool, workout area and a bonus room for stretching made the Renaissance a perfect place to stay while in Boston. The restaurant was fantastic with excellent food, as well as live, acoustic music!
Other things worth noting - I found a Trader Joe's within a half mile for healthy snacks, etc. The Boston Harbor path/trail nearby was great for a walk or run.
I'll be back next year on Patriot's Day!
