Very cool hotel, close to everything. 10-15 min walk to Boylston St and right on Charles where there are many cute boutiques and shops.

For the most part it an okay visit was there for 1 nite stayed in the suite and was receoved by two noise complaints for some one who spent a high abundance for a one nite stay the room should of been better insolated. i arrived with the room fully paid for me still to be charged for desentation taxes when I live in Massachusetts is insane to me that these charges are even applied

As a renovated former jail, the decision to inform the decor with objects from its history...bars, old keys, padlocks, etc. creates an interesting, and unusual ambience. Given its location, there is no constraint on their setting prices, but I did find the dining to be expensive.

Check-in was fine. Staff was initially courteous. Room is dated but clean. Shower with poor water pressure. Bed has obviously been used and not in a good way. In addition to that, there’s a giant sinkhole in the place where you’re supposed to sleep and was uncomfortable. Food at the Clink was fine. Not exciting. Not bad, but definitely overpriced. I bought a fish dinner for two dollars more at the fanciest fish place in Boston. They definitely think too highly of themselves. Had to wait because even though I asked for a reservation they told me it was not necessary. I understand the night club scene in the lobby which is designed to make money, but certainly not what you would expect in a luxury hotel. In the evening the area becomes totally unusable for guests. Check out for whatever reason they decide to add another $25 per night for a destination fee when they already charge me almost 400. Complete rip off. Greedy And not worth the money. Check out personnel was slow and not very knowledgeable. I wouldn’t stay here again.
