"I stayed in a superior room for 3 nights and throughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is adjacent to the railway station and an easy walk to the Old Town. Rugs Hotel was the perfect base for exploring Augsburg and beyond."

"Room was okay, small and odd for long stay. Staff not friendly. Fire alarm went off in middle of night. Location was excellent next to train station, but rather noisy. "

"Tired hotel with no curtain in my room and far too hot although the radiator was switched off. The shower head would not hold up and the bed was very soft - ok for some people I know, but not me. There was no breakfast other than coffee and worst of all there is only a small time with any staff. That’s no help if you’re facing a keypad to get in. The telephone number to a sister hotel cuts off if you select the English option and if you take the German option they are not exactly helpful - I am still waiting for a call back that was promised in five minutes! "
