Choose a different hotel

I was traveling with my family — two adults and two small children (a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old) — and booked a double room, as I’ve done many times in other hotels without issue. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed. I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesn’t even use one. The receptionist was unwilling to listen, and instead called the manager several times. While we waited, another guest walked into the lobby, and the receptionist began openly complaining about us. I found this behavior completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked to cancel the reservation so we could go elsewhere, but the manager told us that a refund was not possible. As a compromise, he agreed not to charge for the baby and waived breakfast charges for our toddler. Left with no alternative, we stayed for one night. Do yourself a favor: choose a different hotel with better customer service and flexibility — especially if you’re traveling with small children.

agréable séjour d'une nuit au calme avec bornes de recharge électrique à côté, petite zone commerciale à 50m à pieds et restaurants sympas dans la zone. Bon petit déjeuner à volonté; bémol : la réception n'ouvre qu'à partir de 16h

Lousy place

Rude and un-welcoming staff. Toilet broken in assigned room, was relocated to one that hadn't been used for months - dirty, smelly. We were charges for tourist tax and an additional bed even if Hotels stated in the booking that this was included. Location very un-inspiring, only suitable for sleeping. Breakfast just average.

pas de bol un groupe d'enfant logeait dans l'hôtel eau même moment, c'est là qu'on se rend compte que l'isolation est inexistante. ils ont fait le parcours de sport de nombreuse fois , une fausse bonne idée ce truc?

réservation via Expedia : Mon code d'accès pour l'ouverture automatique ne fonctionnait pas (plusieurs tentatives) et l'accueil était fermé... heureusement il y avait une personne pour nous dépanner. Au niveau de la chambre, c'est propre et ça a été refait récemment SAUF la douche qui mériterait un lifting (au moins les joints) ! et l’abattant des toilettes ne tenait pas, pareil, juste un petit détail à régler bien utile... Le personnel est très gentil ! autant à l’accueil que pour le ménage.

Pas de réponse à nos messages via hotels.com. Arrivée à 22h, accueil fermé, seulement une borne et aucun élément transmis en amont. Obligés d’appeler un numéro à 50cts la minute, avec un support quand à lui totalement désabusé de la situation qui tente tant bien que mal de résoudre au plus vite la situation. Finalement, la personne de garde ouvre son contoir. On se fait engueuler parce que « nous sommes passés par d’expédia », et que c’est tout à fait normal. Chambre basique (correspond au standing attendu), mais salle de bain manquant d’entretien, litterie et oreillers faible confort. Des années que je n’ai pas eu une expérience aussi désastreuse !

I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price.
