East Bay Suites
10/10 Excellent
"This was an excellent accommodation—clean, comfortable (though could use new pillows in bedrooms) and perfect location for walking to everything! Kitchen was well appointed. We really appreciated the ice maker in the fridge! Very nice and helpful staff. We will definitely stay here again when traveling north. "

Aspen Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"This place is awesome!! First of all, thanks to the front desk person we were able to check in an hour late after the front desk closed. Parking went smoothly, even with a bunch of snowmobile trailers around. The sleeping part was great! Comfortable beds and smart TVs which allow us to stream. In the morning we tried the shower and let me tell you this is the complete opposite of your typical hotel shower. It actually has water pressure and so much where you have to make sure the water doesn't hit the back lip of the tub, where it then can leak out of the tub (be careful). Rest of the room was great! We also weren't expecting breakfast but they sure had it with delicious premade (you toast them) waffles and other grab and go stuff. The juice was also really good. If you wanted to bring Jimmy Dean sandwiches or something of that sense, you can as they have a microwave in that breakfast area that is available to use. Lastly, the hottub was very nice to use! Very refreshing after a day skiing at Lutsen. They also had a pool and sauna which we did not use. Overall I'd absolutely stay here again and recommend others to do the same!"

Caribou Highlands Lodge
8/10 Good
"Clean room, dated. The hot tub and pool were beyond packed to the point of me needing to get out due task it became uncomfortable. With a location and prices like these I would expect 2 outdoor hot tubs or 2 indoor (for a resort of this size) like one sees in Colorado or Utah.
Bar closes at 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights, would have been nice to see it open until 10. Over all, nice property, needs a bit of updating but it was a great stay.

"Onsite parking. Great views of Lake Superior literally right out the deck door. Would stay here again. Close to Lutsen Mountain resort which is a plus."

Feather Nest Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Everything a person needs is available. We stayed at the Yellow Room which offered 3 separate beds... 1 queen in a room, and two twin beds in another separate room. Walk up the stairs from the outside. Electronic key pad for entrance is handy. Very good communication from the owner. "

Poplar River Condos

The Mountain Inn at Lutsen
10/10 Excellent
"Thank you to the staff who checked us in. She was very accommodating as we had a dog with us. He's our family and she treated him as such. Room was very clean, smells clean and bed was comfortable. Will definitely keep staying here when visiting Lutsen."

The Shoreline Inn
4/10 Poor
"The property is old, the room needs an update and some maintenance throughout. It is in a good location right by the lake and was quiet. "
