"Rooms are clean. Staff is helpful. Food is great.\n Need to make sure that you use your key in the doorknob, not the deadbolt. Some rooms need numbering and the map should have numbering to match for the bar, it could stay open later than 8 o'clock. Not everybody goes to bed that time."

"great location, great staff, very clean and quiet. suggestions would be make sure you have a lakeview room!! AND to the staff doing the breakfast make sure you watch for cross contamination for food allergies."

"We had one of the Lake View units and it was clean, private and comfortable with the fireplace and a nice deck overlooking the lake. The jetted tub was a plus as was the provided Caribou Coffee. Was a good home base for our daytime explorations with lots to see and visit along the North Shore all the way to Grand Portage. Will definitely consider staying there again next time we're up that way."

"Exceeded expectations! We have stayed here before and will do so again. Amazing views, spacious and well-stocked, nicely furnished, sparkling clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Walkable to everything you need. Highly recommend for a quick getaway or a longer stay!"

"We had a great time here and love the place. It's unique. Super close walk to town. Comfortable and clean. Everything was booked and someone must have canceled and I swooped in on it and I'm so glad that happened. It was nice to try a new unexpected place. We definitely will go back. I was a bit worried when I saw it was pet friendly. I have pets, not with on this trip, but don't know how others care for theirs so I thought maybe it would have a pet odor or not be the cleanest. But that wasn't the case at all. I didn't see a trace of pet hair. Everything was very clean. There are lots of little thoughtful extras. Things in case you forget something or local coffee and soap. Ample towels. Everything you'd need for kitchen/cooking. All in all a wonderful experience. And close to so much wonderful hiking the North Shore offers."

"What a beautiful place to get away from it all! Located at the very end of the Gunflint Trail, Sag Lodge was the perfect spot for our family of five to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the stargazing was incredible! We loved the feeling of being tucked away from everything. Our accommodations were clean, cozy, comfortable, and just the right size for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was clear that the property was thoughtfully cared for and well maintained. There’s something really special about being at the end of the trail, surrounded by so much natural beauty and quiet. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"
