"The photos online were a compilation of multiple units, not of just the one you're getting. So you don't quite know what the layout is that you're getting until arrival.
It was a lovely place to stay with a stocked kitchen, coffee and tea with the necessary filters were provided for. The wood burning stove was a fun treat. "

"Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service."

"The location was perfect for skiing. The onsite restaurant food was slightly above average. Good ambiance and staff was attentive and friendly. Crystal the bartender was great. The pool area could use some more chairs and tables. Pool towels were in short supply. The bathroom only had shampoo, conditioner and bar soap for sink so bring your own. Overall nice place to stay and would stay again."
