"Located in safe area. Short drive to restaurants and beach. Parking lot had some trash that needed to be picked up. Coffee was good. Didn’t care for the blue tint on the room windows. Didn’t partake of the complimentary breakfast. Swimming pool was nice. Kinda wished the fridge had a small freezer area for ice cream but that’s not usually the case anywhere you stay. Bed was okay but there was no electrical plug near it to charge devices; they were across the room which didn’t make sense in an ADA-compliant accessible room. Saw two creepy crawly bugs in the room. This room was above our normal desired stay per night so expected a somewhat higher quality. Staff were all very nice though."

"Room door didn’t look secure at bolt level. We checked in as group of 3, there was only two towels. A/c worked well, kept us nice n cool. Not a bad place considering its age for quick overnights. *******Big thing, Big thanks, the bathroom tissue was SOFT type and not the wax paper stuff like at other more expensive places, YAY!!!"

"A great location and it is quiet. There are quiet hours and people actually adhere to them. We were by the pool and had a great night of sleep. The room was clean, smelled clean when we went in and was very roomy for 4. You have your own numbered parking spot, in and out is easy. You are walking distance to their private fishing pier, there is also a pavilion to sit and just watch the water. Shopping is right down the road and Corpus is 30 mins away. No complaints at all and will definitely be back."
