"A lovely place, but rather hard to find. Only one small signpost if you happened to be on the right road, and then nothing at the actual entrance to the farm. Very peaceful with gorgeous views over the valley. Delicious breakfast, served earlier than usual on our request by extremely friendly staff. We were upgraded from the room I booked, as we were the only guests that night."

"Wow. What an amazing place. My wife and I have travelled around the world extensively but we loved this place more than almost anywhere weโve ever been to. We stayed for 3 nights and the place suited our need for a break. It was ultra clean. The staff were super helpful and took a personal interest in us and what we were doing. The views were stunning. The food and fires were good. Our room (number 2) even had its own log fire. Thank you Diggers for allowing us to stay with you. Next time we come to the Cape Town area weโll be back and weโll be back for longer."

"We stayed 2 nights in May. The accomodation was comfortable but dark. The food was superb The game drives were great. Wrap up warm on a morning it's cold. The pool was cold so we didn't use it. The sun loungers were comfortable. All staff friendly and the animals were great."

"Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away. We stayed almost a week. Asked housekeeping to change our pillow cases once. They did not do this. This was the only request from housekeeping. The Spa is excellent and privately owned. That made up for the disappointment in the hotel."
