"Convenient location for what we needed. Quiet. Well appointed room. Area immediately outside did not feel overly safe, but that is not the hotel's problem. We tried to get drinks and snacks one night from the hotel 'store'. Choices were extremely limited and front desk staff were not very helpful. Not a bad place overall."

"The staff were very helpful, but the room itself was not completely clean. The lobby and restaurant are beautiful, but the rooms I've stayed in are very dated and need updating & maintenance. Pool is great! I wish they would update the rooms. "

"My room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom wa solid granite and had a hair dryer and many clean towels and facecloths. The bed was very comfortable and had blankets. Excellent T.V. too. I also had a complete kitchen with a fridge, freezer, plates, cups, cutlery and pots and pans. It also had a coffee maker and complimentary milk, sugar etc. I was absolutely delighted with my room. The Manager, Chris, was absolutely great! He was helpful, kind, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be staying at the Red Lion Inn the next time I visit Victoria, BC. It simply can't be beat. "

"Our stay was amazing! We’re a family of four, and during check-in our son mentioned it was his birthday. Later, the front desk surprised us with delicious cookies and a handwritten card—such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel incredibly special and welcoming! The room was cozy and well located—quiet, homey, and not too busy. The lobby was spacious and beautiful, with a lovely fish pond that added this relaxing and fun vibe. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very clean and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and having a laundry machine was a great bonus. The only small note is that laundry detergent isn’t provided, so be sure to bring your own. We would absolutely love to stay here again!"
