"Person working at the desk was very friendly. Room was large and clean with a beautiful lake view. The hallways were very dirty with midges, q-tips, screws, and whatever else you could find. Breakfast was super crowded. At best you could say it filled you up. Exercise room was a joke and should not be advertised. If you're able to look past the very dirty halls and not so clean pool area, then it is a bargain for what you pay."

"First, let me save you the trouble: the pictures for this place deserve an Academy Award for Best Fantasy Film. Before booking, actually read the reviews — there are plenty of hotels on this block, and trust me, saving that extra $50 is not the victory you think it is. Spend the extra money and preserve your sanity. The front desk guy greets you like he’s auditioning for a community theater ballet production, complete with strange facial expressions that make you wonder if you accidentally checked into a fever dream instead of a motel. Then there’s the TV. By the time you finally figure out how to turn it on, you could’ve completed a semester of electrical engineering. The bugs? Oh, they don’t just exist here — they THRIVE here. Step onto the balcony and you’re greeted by what appears to be an entire civilization of insects living on a mound like they’re paying property taxes. And the water view from the pictures? In reality, it looks less “peaceful getaway” and more “crime scene from a low-budget horror movie.” The shoreline is so questionable that you’ll start wondering whether a satanic ritual took place there last Tuesday. There’s mysterious sludge, strange debris, and things floating around that would require a biological scientist to identify safely. The curtains have mysterious black spots all over them, which really adds to the “abandoned haunted motel” atmosphere. Opening the balcony slider requires the strength, patience, and expertise of a licensed contractor."
