Virginia Creek Settlement

10/10 Excellent
"Virginia Creek Settlement is a one-of-a-kind place in a beautiful, rustic setting. We loved almost everything about our stayโ€”the amenities, the food, our room, and especially the warm, friendly, helpful hosts. Our motel room looked out over a small lawn beside Virginia Creek, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. It has plenty of character without sacrificing comfort and feels very different from a conventional motel. A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable place to stay."

"This was my second time at the hotel. It is a little bit of history. It is showing its wear and tear, but there are views of Lake Topaz from many rooms. The restaurant overlooks the lake too. There is a casino and a friendly bar. They give you a drink coupon for each guest. I plan to return anytime I am in that area."

Lee Vining Motel

10/10 Excellent
"This is a very small hotel with about 12 rooms. The room was recently updated. They had a stand alone air conditioner which works great. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker are on a counter with room to make sandwiches etc. there is also a cupboard. There are chairs and tables outside your room to relax. Showers are large and nice. The toilet area is a little tight but the shower makes up for it. The room and parking sitting area was clean. They leave keys on a clip outside and return key drop is under it. If you have questions they have a ring doorbell to talk on. The office is across the street but we never needed them. I would stay here again."
