Overall it was a clean and comfortable stay. We stayed for a weekend in April. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Just a few things in room that needed touching up in our room but did not affect our stay. Nice and quiet as well.

The Walnut Tree Hotel
Food was nicely presented and there was a good choice of breakfast and dinner options. Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good parking and EV charging available. Part of the hotel has been very freshly painted with new carpets which was lovely. Would recommend.

This is a difficult review. The owners have only recently taken over and are working hard to improve things. The place is very tired in places, needing repairs and redecorating.
