"Old beautiful hotel right by the other. Room super clean and bed very comfortable. Our black out blind would not shut down completely and drain in the shower and sink rain super slow, almost clogged. I mentioned to the front desk and they took notes but again the hotel is old. Room was quite small. I asked for an upgrade but they told there was nothing available. Bar super cool but after seating on a table the bartender told me if I wanted a drink I needed to walk to the bar while he was serving other people dinner on their table. Not cool"
"Pros:Location Location Location! It was just awesome! Clean towels every day without requesting! Floor swept every day. Shower was very good. Beach passes!!!! WiFi was great! AC was great! Mary Ann was amazing! This gets an A+
Cons: The room next door to us REAKED of weed.you could not escape it! It would permeate into our room. SO AWFUL! Just so GROSS. Signs everywhere for No Smoking. A real turn off. Beds were very uncomfortable, at least in our room. Woke up in so much pain every day. The area around the pool is covered in green indoor/outdoor carpeting…pretty gross, can you say athletes foot? That needs to be replaced. We also had a Rusty, creaky, metal rocking chair in our room and an office chair…could have used a real chair to sit in as well as another suitcase stand or a dresser. OH!!! No coffee maker in the room. All of these give the room a C-
Overall I’d give it a B. I would stay there again but ask for rooms with newer mattresses. Such a bummer not getting good sleep. The convenience of location is just great. Overall it’s a clean motel that needs some serious updating and repairs."
"Cute place if you just need to sleep. It’s dated but clean (although the first 2 rooms I was given weren’t fully cleaned). The rooms are dated and there were visible stains in the carpet, but clean enough. The staff is nice, The breakfast was just some bread options with spreads and dry cereal. The WiFi was too slow in my room to work properly and I could hear people having full conversations from what sounded like it was outside my window until 1 am. Having said all that, it’s fine for a quick visit to the area and dog friendly which gives them bonus points from me."
"The hotel welcomes dogs. We could take Teddy everywhere.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel is close to the beach and all restaurants. Our stay was good, but noticeably different than last time.
Would’ve liked to see the staff more attentive in the lobby and at the front door. Greetings when entering and leaving were limited. The doormen were often on their phone and it would be appreciated if they hold the door open especially when pushing a stroller. When we left with a cart full of belongings, there was no offer to help load it onto our car.
Pool area and grounds need to be cleaned up and organized overnight. Garbage should be removed from the lawn and pool area. Cushions should be placed into sitting areas."
"The room was clean upon entry. Staff that carried the bags in and out of room were friendly and upbeat. Valet guys again were very friendly and their assistance in packing and unpacking my vehicle especially considering some physical issues I am having was a tremendous help. Great, helpful guys the whole valet crew! Went to the bar on two separate occasions. Made what I ordered but pretty slow to get it made. Waiter came over way too many times to ask how our meals were but just my preference."
