The incredible scenery, the relaxed, rustic feel of the place and the surroundings, and proximity to sites we wanted to see, were outstanding! The breakfast was great, and a 'help yourself' attitude is one I appreciate. Overall, there is an eco consciousness at the Beatnik Hotel, that I feel is the way forward in hospitality services. "The house is a beautiful Victorian mansion, well preserved and full of charming details. There are many steps to the upper floors and no elevator. Our room was comfortable and clean and the heat-A/C worked well. Breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. We walked 10 minutes into town for shopping and other meals. I would happily stay here again."
