"The room was immaculate, as was the bathroom. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet, which was really surprising because the road outside was very busy.
I couldn't get the aircon to adjust, and I would have loved some proper coffee bags in the room instead of nescafe, but otherwise everything was excellent and I would definitely stay again."
"We picked this hotel for its great location and upgraded rooms for our family get together in Bristol. The rooms were big and the beds very comfy, the breakfast area was never too busy and the food was fresh. Even the coffee was customizable! The rooms had a kettle and tea/coffee facilites but no fridge .I could iron my clothes and put valuables in the safe , plus there were at least ten wooden coathangers . The multi level car park is next door- so easy ! the bar serves excellent beer choices and was open till at least 10.30 .You are in the middle of a great part of Bristol and can walk to all the major river sites . We will come back here next year too!"
"Nice quiet room and a really nice breakfast very clean hotel and helpful staff could not have wished for better a little expensive perhaps but that is the only thing other than that could not fault thank you"
"WOW what a fabulous hotel! We had a lovely welcome at reception, our room was bigger than expected for a 'cosy' room. It was lovely and clean and although there was no aircon a substantial fan had been provided. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels and toiletries which smelled gorgeous. We had supper and drinks on the terrace but I sent mine back as the chicken was very dry, there was no problem and when a fresh meal was served it was delicious. Breakfast was the usual buffet of cereals, pastries or cooked options. It wasn't the best, bacon was hard, eggs didn't have a runny yolk, mushrooms weren't fresh. For an extra charge there were a few other options but no poached eggs or omelette. The staff were very helpful and happy to do so. All in all a lovely stay wish I could have stayed longer so we could enjoy the beautiful garden walks."
"Super impressed with this hotel! Wasn’t expecting much given its location but it’s been beautifully designed and feels like a mini resort with spa, bar and lovely restaurant with an outside area. The only downside was the charge to use the pool which was not pointed out until after booking."
