"Stayed overnight and liked the fact that parking was free and we could walk into the centre in 10-15 minutes. A small hotel with secluded garden area. "
"Good central location, convenient low cost parking options close by. Friendly service, good size room, with fridge and microwave. Very good value, we'll go there again."
"Welcoming staff, pleasant room and great food. We took the 3course dinner and it was tasty and well cooked, with sensible portion size. Throughout was well decorated and in good order. Very convenient for visiting Tewkesbury."

I had mixed feelings, the city was clean with some lovely buildings but it had clearly seen better days. The cathedral had some interesting tombs etc, there were some nice cafes and the old quays are nice to walk around.

It's a good town just for a day trip, overnight stay not needed (unless you planned for a night out which I didn't). Few historical buildings worth visiting (Cathedral was stunning), but overall even with shopping it's a 6 hours sightseeing, max.

Try the Food Dock by the Quayside - a great range of good food and drink!
"Excellent stay, as all Daniel thwaites brand hotels usually are...
Great food, great rooms, really comfortable, great hotel layout, milk and water dispensers in the hallway, which are genius idea, really make the difference for an avid tea/coffee drinker... Spa, gym, pool facilities are fabulous, very relaxing and well kept. Staff were lovely as usual, they pick good people.
Only thing I'd complain about is having to pay for parking, which I didn't expect... But it was only a fiver per night so not too unreasonable."
"Absolutely gorgeous hotel and I can't believe I got it for the price I did. I stayed alone on business mid week and the facilities were brilliant.
A high standard Spa with a beautiful view out of the windows, decent sized gym (although it opened quite late at 7am, not the best when you have an early start - 6am would be perfect) and I even treated myself to a late evening massage (Emily was great).
The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and the staff were all very polite and helpful.
I'd be staying much more often if the price was that achievable mid week (circa £120)."
