"Very friendly welcome. Beautiful location with views out of the back of the hotel. Food very good and service excellent. Room was very basic and hot - no fan or air conditioning so did not sleep well. Bathroom was basic (no shower :-( ) and all soap dispensers were empty. "

"This property exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without any fuss and were shown to a wonderful room (No 1) with a stunning view of the river. We had lunch in the restaurant and while I went to watch the Tour de France, my wife relaxed in the room and walked the dog by the river. The pool was a welcome relief after a hot day and dinner on the terrace was superb.
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was just perfect. It was a shame we only...
