Fantastic apartment in the city centre
Stayed 3 nights in February 24, including the weekend. We stayed in the Classic Apartment, 1 Bedroom, City View. To start, check-in is incredibly simple and can be done online before arrival, so when you do turn up it's merely a case of collecting the keys. The apartment is about as central as you can get, it is right next to St James' Church. The check-in desk is in a separate building but this is only a few metres away and is not an issue. The main train station is 10-15mins away by foot and other transport links are all easily within reach (either bus or tram). You are alsosurrounded by countless options for food and drink. The apartment itself could not be faulted. Very, very spacious and comfortable, modern looking and with a lot of amenities. We were big fans of the coffee machine and really appreciated the washing machine (with easy to understand instructions on how to use). The bed was massive and very comfortable. The shower was also great. You would normally have a fantastic view of the church as well, but sadly it was covered in scaffolding during our visit. The only disappointment was that there is a nightclub that was open on the weekends and you could hear and feel the music throughout the night. Earplugs were provided, but they don't stop it all. In general we're used to sleeping with noise but this could be an issue for others, so bear in mind for weekend stays. Despite this, we would happily stay again and would recommend highly to others.

This property is in an updated late-nineteenth-century building and has view of St. James (sv. Jakob) Church and the nearby square. It is one of the most comfortable accommodations I experienced. There is no parking, but a commercial garage is nearby.

A bit of a weird and quite old building, the apartment was clean still dated .. we were on weekend so it was noisy till very late night.. nice and helpful stuff at the reception. Very good and centric location, the parking is 5-8 min walk, better to use backpacks or hand bags .. Buttom line - it’s ok ..

The street noise is minimal with the windows closed, but that is expected when staying so close to restaurants. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Would stay here again.

Ok place but laundry machine ate my clothes
The rooms were good. But the laundry machine broke and i couldn't get my clothes out. Because no one picked up the call when I called them.

I chose the Apartment with Sauna, not for that reason but I wanted laundry facilities and a quiet unit. On the 6th Floor, the apartment is within a larger building of apartments, not just those of Jacob. The entry route may not attract, but I found it safe. The apartment itself is very spacious, condition dated but everything worked. Other units looked more upgraded. Location is excellent and despite staying on a Friday night, the noise from street level was not an issue. The sauna is a nice touch, used and enjoyed. Weakness - the bed and bedding could do with replacement. The TV is old but does the job and has netflix etc capability. Recommended.

Perfect location in the city centre. My room was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable. I took a room with a city view and I wasn't disappointed: it is definitely worth it! All the staff were extremely helpful and made me feel at home.

Excellent location. St. James' Church was just in front of apartment's main door. Shops, restaurants pubs, and places of interest all within 30 mins on foot. Náměstí Svobody was just 5 mins on foot. Both the bus terminal at Brno Hotel Grand and the Brno hlavní nádraží can be reached on foot within ~20 and ~30 mins respectively. The room was clean and well lighted. The toilet seems newly renovated, it was very clean and well lighted. Reception staffs was friendly.

The apartments were central, right next to St Jacob's church. Our room was excellent, spacious and lovely, clean and modern. You couldn't ask for a better room. The staff on reception were also lovely and very helpful when I asked advice about where to visit. You should definitely stay here when visiting Brno.

A fantastic place to stay!
Seeing our apartment on arrival was a wonderful surprise. The apartment is very spacious, clean and fully furnished. There's everything you need in the kitchen for light cooking which saves time and money especially when you're traveling with children. There's a washing machine and dryer there, too! The location in the very centre of Brno is perfect and you can feel the relaxed atmosphere everywhere around you. The staff were always very polite and helpful. The only drawback was the noise coming from the downstairs disco club (a bit noisy until almost 3 am) on Saturday night. Other nights were peaceful and quiet, though. The thick walls ensure you can't hear your neighbours and they can't hear you (or your noisy kids) either. I don't think l'd ever stayed in a better apartment than this! I can happily recommend the hotel to everyone.

This place is great. It is clean, the stafff are friendly, speak perfectly English, are helpful, the room is super quiet and clean, facilities are clean and the pension is 2 minutes from the center if Brno! And the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended it!

Great great location!! Best ever. Best beer hall right downstairs. All the best spots all around. Next to cathedral. Excellent shared bathrooms. Great old building. But if you're facing the street it was very very loud. Earplugs would be a must.

Was beyond what I was expecting
This hostel was luxurious with great high ceilings, big windows and doors, and super clean and equipped common rooms. The woman at the reception was very nice and check-in was very easy. It was definitely beyond my expectations and above what you would expect of a typical hostel. Would definitely recommend to anyone (especially those who wouldn't consider hostels, since it was such a great price).

Good place to stay for a few days exploring Brno
Good central location with short distances to what Brno has to offer in the old town. My room was a big room with double bed and shared bathroom.

Great apartment. Central location.
Lovely stay in an apartment for six people. Two slept on a sofa bed, but this was made up on arrival and very comfortable. Helpful staff and a great location in central Brno.

Convenient to the town center, and walkable from the train and bus stations, I was surprised to find a hostel. With showers, sinks and toilets out in the common space, and no robes in the room, I was glad I was prepared. (I booked well in advance, so I didn't check before packing.) A Windows 7 Dell tower for common use proved useful for photo backup, despite the Czech language challenge. Laundry facilities, with the staff handling running the machines, providing laundry detergent, moving from washer to dryer very welcome. It was quiet at night, and only a bit noisy with early departures. The bed was comfortable, and there was enough room on the floor to leave a large suitcase open.

Great hostel.
Very comfortable- clean, great amenities, location was also wonderful. Communication with staff was very clear and friendly too. The only thing I'd say is, when booking this place, we did not realize that although the name indicates apartments AND hostel, that we ( a family of four ) would be sharing a suite with another room. It was definitely a wonderful stay, but ideally we would have been looking for our own place, which wasn't quite clear upon booking, so you'll want to ask/request that if privacy is what you want.
