"The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. "This cottage is immaculately presented from the outside and in. It’s a great location and is only a very short walk to the centre of Betws-y-Coed. On road parking is available along the road outside the cottage and there are plenty of spaces further along the road if you can’t get directly outside. "A one night stay to allow my son and I to stay over after climbing Snowdon. Perfectly located, a premium was paid because of this. A simple twin bedded room in the coach house, ideal for our needs. A bath was appreciated, bubble bath would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. This was consistent throughout the hotel, especially the young man serving in the bar in the evening and also a waitress at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was self service and substantial. Highly recommended. An all round excellent stay, £166, breakfast included and free parking."

"When we arrived staff were lovely and friendly. The family room we had was on the top floor so although its a family room its not ideal when you have a baby or toddlers as we had to leave our strollers in the car. When we got to our room the children found chocolate on the floor which we had to dispose of and we found rubbish still in the room. Some of the shampoo bottles were already open and were leaking on the shelf next to the bath. The room was nice apart from that. The beds were made well. It wasnt very convenient trying to get all our luggage through the dinning room to get to our room and as we were leaving also i bumped into someone having breakfast as i was trying to get our stuff out as the passage through was narrow. It was a really lovely atmosphere though all the staff were so helpful and friendly, they had food alternatives to support allergies. During our stay we found that as there is an outdoor sitting area a-lot of the time when we left or came back to the hotel people were smoking and its close to the entrance of the hotel so we had to walk past and with have young children and a baby with us we didn’t like breathing it in or having it around the children. I did inform staff of the state of our room and the gentleman at reception apologised and said he would ensure he sorted it. I found that over all it was a really lovely stay. It was really convenient as we were across from the beach and we got a parking permit so we could park for free."
