"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. "Great location and staff. Spacious room but pretty scruffy. I’d stayed in an Abode (Exeter?) years ago and it was a real treat, absolutely lovely. But sadly this felt quite run down. The decor was really naff in the room and bar. 3 star maybe, but definitely not 4. If I stayed again, I’d go for a better room. It could be so nice, really hope it gets the refresh it deserves."
