The location is nice, the room was okay. The shower alternated between very hot and very cold, there was no WiFi information in the room, and the heater wouldn’t turn on (could’ve been user error I suppose). It is above a pub so it is quite noisy, and there was live music as well which made it a bit more noisy than expected to no one’s fault. If you want to eat at this pub on the nights you stay be sure to book a reservation as it was full and we had to eat elsewhere. Breakfast is to included, nor is parking but the car park is nearby and only 4£

November mid week break
We stayed room only for three days. Room is clean, the owners and staff very friendly and the location’s two minutes from the heart of the village. We’ve stayed here before and will do again.

Great and an authentic place to stay.
The Crown and Trumpet is a good old fashioned English pub set in the beautifully presented Cotswold village of Broadway. It was refreshing to see it representing an authenticity that is very much lacking in an admittedly highly attractive town that in its present day version represents Chelsea in the Cotswolds more than an historic old town. The staff at the inn are super friendly and efficient and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Meals are reasonably priced and the portions represent good value, certainly compared to other “more prestigious” places in the High Street. Of course, you don’t get the luxury offered in other establishments but you get value for money and a quaint quirkiness that provides an authentic and genuine feeling. One thing to be aware of is that there is no onsite parking but there are long and short stay car parks close by that are free between 6pm and 8am. Long stay car parks are £4 for 8 hours (covering the whole day before the free period kicks in) and tickets for both types of car park can be purchased the evening before to avoid rushing out before 8am.

Don't stay here!
I have traveled extensively and can say without a doubt that this is the worst place I have ever stayed. Room was cold, shower was unstable and cycled between boiling hot and freezing cold, room did not get made up for the next day, and when I asked for clean towels I was told there were none available. A disgrace to English accomodations!

The position was great. The staff very friendly, great. The room clean old deliberate design nice cozy . Bed a little squeaky but in caricature. Food was fantastic well worth money for area. Down side no on site parking but very close. And when people left pub end of night noisy and noisy outside. Would still stay again.

Was a fabulous place to stay - from the moment we walked in it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. We were staying after running a marathon and it was ideal for relaxing with drinks in front of the fire. Good pub food too

I thought it was incredibly expensive for what it was. I’d have expected to pay about half the price and £127 did not even include breakfast, which I went and enjoyed at the beautiful 4 star Lygon Arms.

Loved the charm of the pub, great friendly staff and the bed was so comfortable. Just a very short walk from the high street and parking was close by. Also good food. Would stay here again no problem.

A unique and pleasant Cotswold Stone property with classic squeaky floorboards and wonderful character. Steve and the team were lovely people, no fuss, no issues just nice. Room was clean and quaint with period furniture, not sure what period, but period. I will certainly stay again, Thankyou.

We booked this inn at short notice and without any research - and we really struck lucky! The staff were jovial and chatty, the real ales on offer more extensive than anywhere else we visited and the pub food delicious. The coal fire was cosy and welcoming and our bedroom quaint with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was extra and I was a little surprised at the £25 price tag for 2 but it was plentiful and of excellent quality.

A very warm and friendly welcome by all - whatever time of day. Felt very comfortable during mealtimes, everyone was respectful of distance /wearing masks, etc Food was excellent and a good choice of well kept beers (& ciders) Everything you needed was there! Mid week break
This was our third trip to this venue and it was as enjoyable as ever. The only slight issue is that due to the current situation the car parking places now have tables and chairs on them. I can’t blame the owner for trying to maximise his profits given that he can have fewer tables inside. There is a pay and display car park within easy walking distance but the maximum stay is four hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm so it requires a bit of thought as to when you arrive back from a day out and when you need to get up in the morning to feed the meter.

Hi this pub is an unspoilt gem still retaining all its character . It’s a local friendly pub with friendly and helpful staff . If you like your beers and proper pub grub this is the place to be . We stayed for two very comfortable nights and enjoyed the old character of the place . Rooms spot on everything you need and spotless . Beds are extremely comfortable and rooms kept warm . This is a great quirky original friendly pub that appeals to all we had a great stay . Highly recommend 👍🍺

The Inn has a pub filled with friendly people and a nice atmosphere. It is located in the village so access to stores and public walking paths is very convenient. You have to walk through the pub to get to the rooms on the second floor. The room was quite dark and dated. If I ever return to Broadway, I would stay somewhere else but definitely visit the pub.

We knew Broadway would be expensive so were pleased to find somewhere at a relatively reasonable price. The staff were lovely and helpful too. The impression though was of being cramped, not helped by the slope of the floor - we appreciate this is a historic building but a wedge under the bedside table would have stopped a cuppa sloping off! Otherwise, clean and welcoming. Didn't eat here as only keen on television suppers when at home!..

An old pub of character with surprisingly large bedrooms with good shower, though up steep narrow stairs. Excellent food with a great choice of freshly cooked British puddings. Good beer selection - a great stay convenient to other Cotswold towns.

Best place to stay in Broadway.
A great place! Typical ‘village pub’ with great staff and a lively atmosphere. Good place to stay for visiting the Cotswolds. Good food and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We met lots of people including several locals.We celebrated my partner’s birthday on our last night and it couldn’t have been better. Will definitely visit again!
