"We had a nice stay even if for one night. Beautiful old mansion in downtown Warren in an old neighborhood surrounded by other mansions. Nice walkable area."

Peek'n Peak Resort Trademark Collection by Wyndham
6/10 Okay
"It's a pretty standard hotel masquerading as a castle.
If you have ever skied before, this will be a huge disappointment. I'm not even sure I can call the slopes "hills", much less a "peak"
Thankfully we visited off-season with the goal of staying someplace unusual and visiting Erie.
We didn't use the pool/hot tub, nor the paintball course. It wasn't clear to us if the mini golf course was open.
They did have a chairlift running and we saw one person using the ropes course.
The onsite restaurant is aptly called the Bistro, with pretty limited, pretty average food. They seemed slightly overwhelmed, but they were dealing with a wedding rehearsal dinner while we were there.
It's pretty quiet and adequately clean, if a bit worn. Also note that there is no elevator, but there are only two floors."
"We came from Ohio for a Wedding. When we checked in the staff were AMAZING!! They treated us like family. I called ahead the day we wete to arrive and asked if they could cool the room? She said of course, i will go up right now. It was very nice and cool, THANK YOU so much. The bed was so comfy. Free hot drinks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate even expresso. and WOW!! the complementary cookies they mention on the website were warm and delicious.
We didn't have a chance to check out the pool.
It's in town, but after 11:00 it's quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay. 😊"
"When we pulled into the parking lot, there was a group of people drinking and smoking in the parking lot (not cigarettes). When we entered the lobby, it was like getting hit in the head with a baseball bat of perfume. The sheets looked like they had been tossed on the ground (outside). Most of the outlets in my room didn't work. When I checked out, they refused to give me an invoice. I also purchased a beer from their front desk - it was so old (best by was five months ago) that it tasted awful. Never will stay there again. Also, when I checked in, there was a clause that we would be charged an extra $1.50 per day for the safe, which would only be removed on request. Just sneaky."
"On our check-in, the front desk had a strong smell of marijuana. The desk manager appeared to be under the influence of marijuana. He had been smoking with another employee out front as we entered.
Our room was not serviced after our first night. The desk manager said they could not clean our room because the cleaning staff was gone for the day. (this was about 3:30 in the afternoon.)
The shower soap bottle was empty when we first arrived in our room and the employee said they had no more refills. We asked for extra towels and had to ask two or three times in order to get them. The hotel seemed to be short staffed as the desk employee was answering phones, managing the desk, and doing the hotel laundry.
I would not recommend this hotel or this chain."
"I really liked how the door for my room went directly outside so I could bring my dog in and out easily. The property was pretty and spacious outside. I did notice a lot of litter though when walking my dog. The room we stayed in smelled of urine and the toilet wasn't cleaned which was a bummer to me. I was hoping for a fresh smelling room and cleanliness at least, but I was disappointed in that. My coffee maker didn't work at all, but thankfully there was 1 cup left in the main area to make a cup of coffee. The breakfast was good, just didn't have a big selection, but I was ok with what was provided. I hope this place can value cleanliness more and keeping things replaced that are broken and all gone so they can get better ratings. I see a lot of potential!"
"This place used to be beautiful but sad to say it's not anymore it smells like mold the room smelled like an ashtray when it was a non smoking room. The TV remote didn't work and the staff said they couldn't do anything about it. Room was not clean trash all over behind the refrigerator. The blind fell and hit my grandson on the head.the pool was filthy . They had parakeet s in a cage by the check in and they had no food or water and filthy cage. People outside all night sitting in chair's drinking and being very noisy until 2am. There was 2 staff members that were very nice only good thing to say about the place."
"Our room was showing its age; most of the furniture was in disrepair and in need of replacement. The laminate was broken and exposed the substrates. Not a good look, we stay at Hampton's as our default lodging, but this was disappointing. The staff was always very good during our stays."
"Excellent Room and nice quiet surroundings. The pool looked inviting but didn't get the opportunity to enjoy. I had only one thing come up - in the morning around 5 am, I smelled an unpleasant odor that came from - the kitchen, I believe or the exhaust. I could smell a mix of smells, and I just turned the fan on consistently and it seemed to be some better, but maybe an exhaust thing or a "new filter" needed? I really don't know. Please check out rm 105 at the time mentioned above."
"My husband spent the night here for a nearby wedding. The hotel is beautiful. They bring coffee to each floor in the mornings and a beautiful sunset on the water. Staff was fantastic and the hotel was very clean. We will be back!"
