"Rooms good and clean although lacking in drawer space for clothes. Bed comfortable but high for short legged people. Staff very nice and attentive. Breakfast more than enough and freshly cooked. Even though there was no black pudding one morning, they cooked some special for my husband and fresh fried eggs for me. Checkout was stated as 11.00am but told by very nice staff the we could stay until 12.00 noon. All told we enjoyed out stay"

"Beautiful welcoming couple to Evergreen....Our room was comfortable and clean....they couldn't do enough for us... Breakfast daily ...and dinner was yummy....Asian pasta for us.... It is a bit out of the way....however we were happy to not be in the thick of the traffic.....Grounds need a tidy up...however the dry summer has contributed to that.....All in all a great stay"

"On the plus side, our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. King size bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and chatty. My breakfast of cereal, lovely selection of fresh fruit, fruit compotes, yoghurt, croissants and pastries was excellent. Free parking at the rear. On the minus side, my husbands scrambled egg was pale and solid. The television in our room would not work as the aerial lead was all frayed, But worst of all, the kareoke just underneath our window went on till 11.45pm. The staff warned us of this, and gave us ear plugs, but it was impossible to sleep through it. In spite of the kareoke, I thought it was good value for money."

"We loved the cosiness of this very ‘sweet’ cottage! Tucked away in a small village near Banbury but with access to all sorts of places including Stratford upon Avon , Oxford and the Cotswolds, we were able to go out and sightsee every day. The village itself had history tucked away in its lovely church and the interesting Tithe Barn. After all these adventures it was very pleasant to come home to make supper with the help of a well stocked kitchen. In the mornings we loved sitting outside at the small table and chairs in the lovely garden. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make this a very pleasant place to stay. And also Red Kite have been very helpful even when I left some items behind they found them and offered to forward them. Highly recommend this sweetheart cottage!"
