"Maybe the mistake was booking one of the cabins instead of a regular room. The first indicator that there would be cleanliness issues started before we even walked in the door of the room. A q-tip and a couple pieces of trash laid right out side the door. The room initially looked cute enough, dated, but cute. All the windows and sliding door were open upon entering which we quickly found out was absolutely necessary to air the strong scent of wet dog in the room that lingered our entire stay. The couch was very visibly not clean either. Neither of us dared to sit on it our entire stay. The shower & bathroom floor were filthy. Like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. I took a napkin and wiped the entrance to the shower and was horrified to see so much filth. I will say, the bed was perfectly clean & comfortable which was the only reason we stayed. For that, I am thankful. We were in and out and only used the room to sleep because of the cleanliness issues. Bummer because the place has so much potential & is surrounded by beautiful trees & even a little waterfall. I’m not super picky with hotel rooms, but this was really bad."
"We love it all, we would love to see the carpet removed in the downstairs s rooms by the pool. When we arrive our room always smells like pet pee. I always have to make a run to Safeway for pet deodorizer spray.
A flooring upgrade would be grand!!!"
"Room was filthy at check in (excrement on the bed). Garbage littering the steps.Asked for another room, was also dirty. Borrowed cleaning supplies from staff and cleaned it myself. Cockroaches at multiple intervals at different places. Went out and bought my own cleaning supplies (twice). Wifi went out every few minutes. Random people knocking at my door at 1-3am 'looking for someone ' or 'wrong room'
'Guests' doing paraphernalia in the parking lot.
One thing I will say, 3 out 4 Staff were really nice to me and tried to make me as comfortable as possible despite the circumstances which is why its a 2 Star and not a 1 Star"
"The stairs going into the cottage were falling apart with rusty nails exposed. The room still had hair in the bathroom shower, partially painted wall, smearing from people’s hand on the bedroom walls, the list goes on. The dumpster right outside the cottage was overflowing with garbage, all the outside trash cans were full of beer bottles & teach"
"The staff at the front desk were amazing and tried to make our stay the best that they could. (Nikki and Ashley) at the front desk. If this place gets shut down, it will be because of poor management, 2/5 that I booked were infested with roaches. When I personally told the manager, she said that nobody had ever made that accusation before and if it was true I should have said something before. I kindly replied that she should come to the rooms to see for herself and she sent an employee to verify it was true, she changed one room and refused to give me any discount. I payed for 5 decent hotel rooms not for infested rooms with roaches. Why I didn’t complain until later one day after is because we got to our room late at night and the roaches came out when we were asleep, when I opened the bathroom floor they were crawling all over. This was at 3 AM and the next day I was going to walk in two different ceremonies for my graduation and I was traveling from 7 hours away, I let the manager know as soon as I arrived from my last ceremony. If this place gets shut down, it will be because of Elizabeth in management, such poor customer care service. She was even upset that I was asking them to make it right. I really appreciate Ashley and Nikki, they were amazing and went above and beyond after seeing how we were treated by Elizabeth."
