"Its a dairy farm guesthouse. We stay here for two nights. The lady who greeted at us was ver friendly. She tour us around the farm and let us see the baby cows and seeing how they milking the cow. Very lovely experience. "

The price seemed a bit high when we booked it, but after experiencing it first hand I feel it was worth every krona and then some. "This was a great value and a great place to start our Iceland adventure. The friendly staff greeted us with lots of information and a smile. We arrived early (late morning) after a red eye flight and the staff helped us find a place to eat and worked on getting us into our room as soon as possible. Room was basic but clean and in great condition. We had private bath and everything worked well. The area in front of hotel is a little industrial but there is an adorable horse farm behind the property and this is what you see from the room and from the hotel restaurant and terrace. The on site restaurant and bar had great food and service and made our first day very easy. They also have a nice breakfast buffet in the morning for a charge. If you have time to shop, there is a grocery store walking distance and communal kitchen facilities (at least for storage of food). Not sure about cooking. We had a car and did our own thing but it also appeared possible to book tours and activities through the hotel. "

"A beautiful well equipped cottage in a stunning location. It was clean, easy to get into and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed there and it was small but well laid out so we felt like we had a good amount of space. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have coffee, tea and sugar (many places we stayed at on the trip didn’t so this was great to see). We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this accommodation."
