"Room was not available on first night of 4 night booking due to "electrical problem" with room. Sounded more like they double booked my room on the first night, and had no availability left when I checked in. Reception organised a different hotel for me to stay at, which was 5 minutes drive away (they organised transport to at night/from in morning as well). It was inconvenient, as couldn't just step in/out of hotel whenever I needed. Other than that, when actually staying at Moxy, the rooms were comfortable and clean, however noisy as it faced the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has lockers to store your luggage before/ after checkin, which is a nice touch."
"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. The hotel is really great for travelers due to the close proximity to the airport, the free airport shuttle, and the free breakfast. The staff is really great as well.
However, the hotel is starting to show its age a bit and the internet is downright slow and intermittent unfortunately.
Regardless, we will most likely utilize the hotel in our future travel needs!"
"Enjoyed a 5 day break in Bucharest in the Grand Hotel. Very good location close to the Old Town. The 100 airport bus stops across from the hotel. The room is adequate, very comfortable twin beds, although the high bath/ shower may be difficult to access if you have mobility issues. large tv in the room. No table or chairs on the balcony. Very good indoor pool and gym. A poor point is the breakfast.... Minute plates, grilled breakfast was mostly cold each morning. Staff were very helpful and resolved a noise issue to my satisfaction. All in all, a very good hotel, but I wouldn't say 5*."
"The hotel had great amenities and in a fantastic location. It was kind of a pain that the reception area staff was slow in helping hotel guests check in. There was often a long line at the desk without any sense of urgency that people are waiting to be helped."
"Located near the airport. There is a free airport shuttle. The food we ate at the Rustic Restaurant was very good. The front staff was helpful. There is a water park nearby."
"If you’re interested in being close to cafes, nightlife, restaurants… this is not your hotel. Most suitable for business trips slightly away from everything. Not a great view of the Parliament building for additional fees. Overall a good hotel in a weird location. Staff were very professional and polite, would return because of their hospitality. I am a bit upset that I didn’t have a mirror in my room for outfit checks."
