"It’s a good little motel for not that much money. I was happy with the front desk service and the bed and pillows were pretty good. Safe neighborhood close to stores."

"It took over an hour for me to be able to get into the cabin - wrong code for door. I received the correct code the next day. A door was left opened and that is how I was able to get inside - very unsafe. No napkins and no response. It took a little over 30 minutes to be able to get inside the community because of car check in. I was told parking was $40 per car and when I arrived it was $50. I asked for the listed price to be honored and was told no. I was told twice that I would get a response...

"Wonderful small hotel that's about an hour away from Yosemite. My friends and I (3 people total) booked a family double room which consisted of 1 queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in another room, connected by the restroom. We found the room to be clean and comfortable.
We should note that the shower was a bit awkward to use, since it's basically just a bathtub with shower curtains surrounding all sides of it (as opposed to, say, curtains covering part of the tub and a wall on the other). That said, we didn't really have any issues with it.
We arrived at the hotel pretty late (probably around 10pm), when there was no one actively working at the front desk. That said, the owner, presumably Finn, left us a key to get into the hotel and further left us the room keys with my name on the front desk, so it was easy to get into our rooms.
Speaking of Finn, although I never got to meet him in-person, Finn was very responsive via Expedia chat and answered all of my questions, so I very much appreciate him for that.
Some other minor things to note:
- there's free simple breakfast, consisting of fruit, donuts, and muffins. There's not a lot, though, so it's probably not a bad idea to have your own breakfast ready.
- there is a fridge, although we did find that some other guests took some of the water that we left in the fridge, even after labeling them.
Overall, a very wonderful hotel. I'll definitely come back whenever I go to Yosemite again :)"
"This out-of-the-way resort was so reminiscent of simpler times. Lots of fun things to enjoy with my teenage son, great food, and quiet woodsy feel is just what one might expect in the great outdoors around Yosemite Nat. Park."
"My family and I absolutely loved our two night stay here. Our check in was fast and easy. The lobby is lovely and has a cute, well-stocked market. Our room was a good size, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice with a large shower. I was pleased to find a laundry room to clean our dirty hiking clothes. We were so pleasantly surprised to find that the location was minutes from the park entrance. We all had a blast in the pool and hot tub. We ate dinner both nights and the food was delicious. The game room was stocked with lots of fun games for the kids and they loved the free s’mores kits. The recreation desk had excellent recommendations on where to hike. The property is beautiful and peaceful. I truly can’t recommend it more. I can’t wait to return someday. "
