"Andrea iat front desk s the best, great service, big heart for us travelers. Worst part is i ordered a private room but had to go outside in the closed courtyard down the hall to rhe bsthroom in 40 degree weather at night. The other rooms are indoors. The hotel is in a central area of the best part of town Palermo Soho. "

"Great stay here. Definitely one of the nicer hostels we've been to. The hot water was a bit hit and miss, but otherwise our room was ideal. I would stay again next time I'm in Buenos Aires."

"Great location. Great price. Great staff. Perfect for someone like me who wants a safe, clean place to stay, and wants to prioritize the wonderful people and city of Buenos Aires. A European style hostel - private bathroom down the hall. Just what I wanted."

"Al hacer la reserva me pidió la página Expedia los datos de mi tarjeta y en el hotel me volvieron a cobrar, eso no es claro y genera dudas del servicio. Web, otra vez dudo que los vuelva a cintratar"

"Es perfecto para trabajo. Mejoraría los enchufes de pared que todos estaban flojos.
El desayuno muy rico pero si te quedas varios días es un poco repetitivo. Es de los mejores huevos revueltos que me he comido en hotel!"
"You know how some hotels are beautiful and charming on the outside and in the lobby, but then really basic and dated in the rooms? Not Tango de Mayo!
Tango de Mayo is a gorgeous property, with comfortable and impeccably clean rooms, and beautifully charming touches throughout the building. I was greeted by Jessica at the front desk, who very graciously let us check in even though we were early. Very professional and friendly, she sets a great first impression for the hotel. Loved my stay here! Beautifully located, just a short stroll away from Plaza de Mayo and the Obelisk. Area felt safe both in the mornings and the evenings plus it was reassuring that they monitored entry onto the premises. Tango based decorations throughout the place and a beautiful lobby with complimentary tea.
Bedding was luxuriously soft, and the bathrooms well maintained. Breakfast was a big spread - eggs, various kinds of toast, sausages and cold cuts, cereals, juices and a good selections of teas.
Only improvements I might suggest, were if they provided more than one mini bottle of shampoo (we were two female guests staying for 2 days), and if the wonderful blackout curtains went all the way to the edge of the windows on both sides!
I stayed for the first part of my trip in a hotel at Recoleta, before heading out to explore northern Argentina towns and returning to Buenos Aires to stay here . Wished I had stayed here for the first half too! Highly recommended!"
"As a single woman, noticed that none of the room doors had no peep holes to see who was at the door. The hotel was a bit outdated, The carpet in the room was curled up from the floor in the corner.
They ran out of eggs on the morning breakfast 3 of the 7 nights I stayed there.
It was a very convenient location, and the staff was very nice."
"The staff was excellent, they were very helpful, polite and nice. the air conditioning was nice to keep the room cozy in winter. found the hotel in a very good spot for taking the train or the bus, less than 30 min walk from Corrientes.
Although I would’ve preferred the bathroom with more privacy"
"La atención es lo más destacable, hacen lo mejor para hacer. Sentir al huésped muy especial las instalaciones muy cómodas y buen mantenimiento, la ubicación la mejor cerca de todo, un punto que hace la diferencia el desayuno! Opciones sin gluten deliciosas"
