It is central to many “must see” locations. We walked all over to Recoleta Cemetery, water front, Plaza de Mayo, Retiro, San Telmo, Teatro Colon, museum of Arts, local steak and coffee restaurants etc. Easy walks everywhere. Sunday market in front of hotel was fun to explore local artisans.

Smack in the middle of everything you need to do and see. The big Argentina red and yellow bus stop is just across the street. Made it convenient. Also it’s in the middle of the Sunday street market just open the door and you are there!

Starting with a deposit of $100 dollars even though I called to inquire if need any deposit and they told me no. Then, I had the VIP reservation and the pool was not included. They charged me additional money per each person to use the pool, just for a couple of hours, and we were 4 people. Lastly, they charged me a tax to leave the property that I was not counting with, because my understanding was that they charged me everything at the front with my reservation. Not including the pool was the most bothering thing since my kids wanted to use it and I had to pay a lot of extra money for its use. The area of the hotel is very unsafe, someone robbed my mom a block away from the hotel, a person grabbed my mother gold chain from her neck and rubbed away with it. No one did anything to stop it and was no police around it at all.

Dear Silviana, first of all, we are sorry about the robbery of your mother!!!Respect of the deposit I would like to say that is a formal requeriment as a guaranty, because you couldnt let any credit card as a guaranty at check in time.And respect of the tax is a city tax that the hotel must charge in name of the government. Good clean property in the old city. You can eadily walk to lots of the sites. Front dedk staff were outstanding snd they provided exchange US$ at very good rate. The foorman needd to smile not really warm guy. I do recommend this as a good hotel for the nohice trraveller. Safe place central location forget the hop on hop off it is hopeledd.

Unique was the central location and the service some of the staff provided. I absolutely did not like the hours I had to wait for a room, because I had timely informed about my arrival. And I had to constantly ask for the room whether or not ready.

The bad: only 1 elevator working, restaurant service extremely limited, no ice available, shower overflows and standing water in toilet area, tv’s don’t work, front desk staff unconcerned with discrepancy with amenities offered and what is actually available to guest.

Mid-range hotel with good location
It felt more like a 3* hotel than a 4*. Service from reception desk was good. Rooms were clean but old. The pool is only open for a small amount of time and you have to pay extra for it. No onsite bar or restaurant and the breakfast is ok. The location is amazing though.

The rooms were clean and the staff was great. Our room faced the road and it was very noisy. The WIFI was very slow and did not alway work. We had to stand next to the window to get reception

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay. Great value for the money. Leonardo at the front desk was incredible. He and his evening associate helped us so much with restaurant suggestions, reservations and many other things. One of the most personable front desk associates I’ve ever met. They refused to allow me visitors in my hotel room w out showing ID or passports! Never stayed anywhere in world that practiced this. Then they argued w me. I had no WiFi for three days bc obviously their system can’t support hotel paying guests & all of their employees. Finally, upon checking out, I was stuck in their tiny elevator for 30 minutes! I was terrified bc the elevator kept shifting & door opening partway in the middle of 10 floors! If you’re thinking of staying here, skip it. The AC never worked, staff was unhelpful or completely rude, & their property isn’t well maintained as evidenced by getting stuck in a tiny, very hot elevator until maintenance plied the doors open. They gave me a small break on two room service orders, as their apology. Worst hotel stay in my life.

Good location - between San Telmo and main square. Friendly reception. Organised car to EZE airport for a 3.30am pick up. Very grateful. Good car and driver. Breakfast is buffet and good choice of cereal, breads, cakes, and eggs. Coffee good. Rooms are big and immaculate. Fridge in room. Have to pay to use spa etc. So didn’t look at it.

Inflexible
My flight from Canada was canceled, causing me to arrive a day late in Buenos Aires, and removing my need for this booking. I explained the situation in advance of my stay, and even offered to move my booking to another night. I understand it was a non-refundable reservation, but every decent hotel I've been to offers some flexibility. It's annoying enough that I've lost a day from my trip. If they had let me move the night (they did have vacancy), they would have had the same profit and a happy customer. Now they have a resentful customer who is happy to warn people about their service.

There was only one sad thing. The hotel wifi did not work at all during th stay. It’s a great pity for foreign travelers. There was no particular problem when I stayed in past, so I hope to be repaired.

The room is really spacious and has nice comfortable beds. The bathroom is great too. There is practically no view thou, the windows face another nearby building and you can get a glimpse of downtown. The checkout time is really early at 10:30 am. I had an early evening flight so I asked for a late checkout, the latest time I got was 11:30 am. They did let me store my luggages in front desk. It's very close to Plaza de Mayo, but the immediate surrounding seems to be a little sketchy. They offer good breakfast, but charge AR$145 for the bottle water inside room.

Location is great, plenty of things to see nearby as well as restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff were very accomodating and helpful. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Our only issue was with the shower, the wooden flooring in the shower doesn't properly drain water and it smelled funky after a few days.

Nice room, ok breakfast . Helpful, pleasant staff. . location in San Telmo makes it a hassle to go ou at night easily... advised not to walk and no restaurants within a block. Hotel restaurant not a good option. No inviting lobby bar.

Ideal overnight for visiting Colonia
Short walk to historic centre and restaurants. Good helpful host with more than ample breakfast. Took bungalow option - distinctive with a handy kitchenette.

Staff not well trained... Not a single smile. The cleaning ladies decided that 7 am on a Sunday was a good time to start opening and shutting doors on our floor and cleaning was messy and very loud! very bad experience. on check out... they forced me to stay to see I don't know what...

Good hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires
Really enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast room was cute and the pool spa and jacuzzi were good to rest those tired legs after walking the streets of this atmospheric city. Great location for authentic Argentinian restaurants and tango performances.

Noisy but good value for the price.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room is adequate but a bit old. Unfortunately our room was near the entrance and somewhat noisy (the area nearby has several bars and the noise permeates into the room). The outside breakfast area was very nice - cool and pleasant. All in all, we thought it was a decent value for the price.

Do not drink the water bottles provided in the room. They charge $4 USD for them. There was no note or warning of the charge until you check out. There’s a corner store that sell drinks for less than a $1. The shower was leaking water and there was no view.
