This is a great small boutique hotel a couple blocks from the San Telmo Market. The staff was professional and attentive. The whole architecture is interesting. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom can be very slippery. Overall, great spot. We stayed 4 nights.

The streets were very dirty. The hotel area is not safe at night, but it was close to the Sunday market and walking distance to many attractions. The decor was minimal the room required maintenance. We were on the third floor with no elevator so 61 steps up. The staff was very accommodating and the coffee was good.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable place that was small and cozy and in the San Telmo historic district which is very interesting and walkable. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Stay
Hotel is very nice, quaint and quiet. It is is a good location easily walkable to public squares and local restaurants. It is in a good part of town, was not afraid to be out on streets even after dark.

We had high hopes for this place. Cool name, trendy revitalized neighborhood, and beautiful pictures on the web. What a disappointment. Instead of quirky and vintage it is run down and poorly kept. Cheap mid-century furniture from someone's grandmother's attic with veneer chipping off the corners and edges. One small folding luggage stand. When I tried to move the desk over a little for another suitcase I found out the top wasn't even connected to the base. The very charming old door to the room had holes straight through it to the outside from old locks, knobs, etc. Even locked a good shove with a shoulder could break through. Safe was barely attached to the cheap armoire. The only saving grace is an excellent staff. All were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Especially Lucas. He did everything he could to make our stay better. Thanks Lucas!

The staff was as friendly as can be with limited facilities. The property has "character", but unfortunately was very dirty and in disrepair. The room we had shook as large trucks barreled down the road. The bathroom was very dirty and the faucet had a constant, noisy drip. Hair in bathroom, stained sheets, dirty room; all things not expected from a 4-star hotel.

This is a great small hotel in San Telmo that is surrounded by excellent places to eat and shopping. The area was safe to walk around at any hour and the building secure. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I had no issues at all with my stay. Should I return to BA, I will happily stay here again.

This is a gorgeous old building remodeled in an artistic and lovely way. The room was perfect - just the right size, comfortable, and with a window out onto the busy San Telmo streets below. We loved it.

The staff was so helpful! We were staying over New Year's Eve and the hotel reached out ahead of time to let us know it was important to reserve a taxi to bring us to the hotel because they were likely to be full. They reserved the taxi and offered suggestions for places to eat and ways to celebrate. Staff was always able to answer any questions when we arrived and allowed us to check in early and store our bags the next day after we checked out and before our flight. Highly recommend!

Nice stay at this Boutique Hotel
Nice stay in San Telmo. This small hotel is charming and decorated with antiques. Breakfast is nice and staff friendly and helpful. Our only concern was that our room on ground floor had no window, only the large entrance French window door, but we had a seating area in the patio which worked out well. And one night, some people were chatting loudly until 3 am and it echoed in the patio so the management should remind all guests as well as the night staff not to keep it quiet at night as the configuration of the place is echoed potential noise.

We had a wonderful stay. I needed to buy adapter and needed Argentine money and the hotel loaned me money until I could get some changed. Very good assortment for breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

A great little hotel just a few blocks from the main San Telmo plaza. Clean, bright with comfy beds and a geat breakfast with good coffee, a rarity in Argentina hotels. Friendly, helpful front desk staff too

This hotel is in the historic area. After touring the other areas of the city we were very happy with our choice. It is close to all the markets, can go to the square and watch tango performances. Aĺl in all a great place to stay. The staff booked tours for us and gave us restaurant recommendations!

The hotel has a great feel about it and the staff couldn't be more helpful / friendly. Location is a reasonable one on Buenos Aries , only short walk / cab ride depending on what you have planned.

Nice hotel, very noisy room
The hotel was lovely and the food and service was fantastic. The room i booked was incredibly noisy though so i wouldnt recommend staying here if you value sleep.

We were SO happy we booked the beginning of our trip at this place! Couldn't have asked for a better welcome to Buenos Aires! Everything was great: the rooms were nice and clean, it's nice and quiet, the breakfast was delicious and with loads of options for everyone, plus the whole place is stylish and beautiful. Plus super close to everything you'd want to see in San Telmo. Cherry on top: everyone working in reception was incredibly helpful and lovely, from the check in to the check out :) Wishing we could have stayed more here! Definitely recommend it!

Nice stay at San Telmo
Nice spot that is easy walking distance to San Telmo markets and an easy cab or uber to most other attractions. Only issue is no elevator, so we had to take our luggage up stairs, but everything about the place was lovely, including breakfast included and French style rooms

It is true that, in addition to being known as a historical place of interest for being the neighborhood where the city of Buenos Aires is founded, San Telmo has to offer a large number of trendy restaurants and bars, and many of them very close to our hotel. We understand that lack of lift can be a disadvantage for some. Our house was built in 1889. When we completely renovated it in 2015, we could not install an elevator. The room I was given had no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures on Expedia. It was a tiny room with a concrete floor -- rather like a prison cell. I know that there are other rooms in the hotel which are like the photos -- because I passed one with the door open. But if the hotel has other, much worse rooms, it should offer these as an alternative cheaper choice. I was staying in BA for 8 days, and it was impossible to stay under these conditions, so I left after one night. So be warned -- you won't necessarily get what you think you are getting!

Interesting neighbourhood which gives a more realistic view of the city than the trendy touristic quarters. The staff and particularly Marie are extremely helpful, pointing us to the more interesting places to see and the best way to get there as well as great restaurants. I’ll happily come back on my next trip

Lovely, classy boutique hotel with more than a touch of French style. Loved the lounge area and breakfast especially. The bedroom was simply but stylish with a good en suite The actual bedroom was a touch on the small side which was the only negative I can think of for the hotel. Excellent hotel.
