Basic Room

Basic room, had a/c but no amenities. Super noisy, hears noise from the elevators all night. Staff was friendly. The location is excellent

The afternoon shift desk clerk who checked me in was very unfriendly. She pretended to not know a word of English when she was dealing with me but yet I heard her speaking some English later. She put me in a room on the top floor and it seems that's where the motors for the elevator were and it was too noisy to sleep, guests were using the elevator till about 2 am and then started again at 6 am. Both morning clerks were very friendly and treated me with respect, if it were not for the morning staff I would have checked out after the first night. Good value but not sure the afternoon clerk should be in the hospitality business (but maybe she had a tough week)

Excelente custo x benefício

Hotel confortável com ótimo custo benefício. Os quartos são amplos, mas antigos e com carpete. O banheiro era reformado e bem novinho. Não oferecem café da manhã, mas têm uma área com máquina de café gratuita e filtro de água mineral.

Well-managed budget hotel. Excellent location. Well-maintained & cleaned. A/C worked great. Bathroom all in order. WiFi sometimes slow or needed to reconnect again, but otherwise entirely usable. Bed was too hard, as they are everywhere in Buenos Aires. Windows had a UV-reflective film on them, which makes the room and outside world seem dimmer than it actually is, which is a downer. No bathroom in the lobby, which means you're out of luck if you need one while waiting to check in or after checking out. Great value for the price.

Hotel com bom custo benefício. Bem localizado, com restaurante e mercado na mesma quadra. Limpo e com todas as amenidades e itens de conforto (cama confortável, ar condicionado novo, tv nova, wi-fi bom, chuveiro bom). Porém a mobília e o banheiro são muito, mas muito antiquados. Pra uma noite só recomendo. Pra mais noites, talvez seja um pouco deprimente.

Bem localizado.

Tivemos uma ótima estadia. O hotel é muito bem localizado. Próximo ao centro e aos pontos turísticos mais conhecidos. A máquina de bebidas é ótima e é gratuita. Apenas uma observação: os quartos são muito próximos e a acústica não é boa. Alguns hóspedes são inconvenientes e fazem barulho até tarde. O hotel podia agir de maneira que houvesse silêncio a partir de determinado horário. Mas, fora isso recomendo e voltaria ao Up Retiro.
