"The property is great in the centre of a small town. Number of eating and drinking places close by. HOWEVER there is no front desk and arrangements have to be made to check in. There's a buzzer at the door but nobody answers. The assumption is that everyone has a working cell phone to call the owners who live next door and get someone to come and check you in. We had to take our phone off "airplane mode" which cost us 8 Euros. Not good. We don't use Hostals as a rule and this won't change that...
"On the whole this hotel is fantastic. It's set in a beautiful location and has been converted very well. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. This is a tricky review to write as when we woke on Sunday morning, our checkout day, there was no water - neither hot nor cold. Nothing in the whole building. We were given bottles of water for the toilet and we were able to"bathe" in the hotel pool. This was not the fault of the staff who...
"Parking is good plenty room right outside hotel, this place is a cheap place to spend the night en route to other locations, Ideal for travellers who just eat a bed and a hot shower,it does have a self wash facility, handy"
"We were moved from original booking saying there were better facilities there were none! Chose the original for the fact there was a restaurant and a bar and after a long journey we would not need to go out . we were also charged 4 euros more than your original charge . Very disappointed ended up going to bed with no dinner."
"We stayed for one night but we wished we stayed longer. The town is off the beaten path, so genuine and friendly. The hotel is close to the center of town so you can walk to the few restaurants at night. It really a town where everyone knows everyone. The hotel is comprised of 8 rooms and is owned by a family from the area. It’s decorated with relics from the past but beautifully integrated with modern features. A must see for anyone who is interested in staying in a smaller town in...
"This boutique hotel of 24 rooms is absolutely great and well taking care. I had my best sleep there during my vacation. Staff are friendly and provided useful information . Just step from city center it is walkable and very safe . Walking distance to restaurants , shops and historical landmark . I highly recommend this boutique hotel."
