"Staff was very friendly and hotel was nice. We were pleased about the location - we landed in Frankfurt and wanted to see Burg Eltz castle. The hotel is right by the water and has some nice restaurants within walking distance (traditional German cuisine and Döner!). The room was clean and met our needs for the night. Breakfast buffet was very good. We were pleased with our stay. "

"A pleasant hotel with free parking. Slightly let down by lack of a proper bar (although some drinks are available after hours) and a torn curtain in the room. The bed and bathroom were great though, and there’s an hourly bus service if you don’t fancy walking back from the town centre. Overall a good choice for Cochem and the surrounding area."

"Nice family run hotel with helpful hosts. Enjoyed conversations over breakfast about the local area and things to do. Clean large room with view over the street. Free Riverside parking a short walk from the hotel. Nice alternative to staying directly in Cochem."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Kachelberg. It was well run and comfortable. Our room was extremely well presented, very clean and with everything we could have wished for, including a small fridge. The food at breakfast was delicious and with a really good choice. There is an outside area with tables and chairs and we enjoyed a pleasant hour or two later one evening with fellow quests. We would definitely return to the hotel. As a bonus there was a lovely restaurant not more than 20 meters away....
