"Great view of the seafront from our room, the staff were lovely & helpful. Managed to get one of the parking spaces round the back which saved us a fortune in on street parking charges. The Thai food served in the bar area in the evenings is delicious & not to be missed."

"Property is adjacent to the beach area, we had a great view of the esplanade from our room. The check-in was great, probably the friendliest one on our 20 day trip around Europe. Room was run of the mill, bathroom could do with some modernisation together with some luxurious towels instead of the heavily used ones provided."

"The hotel property is well maintained and the reception area is spacious and attractive. The staff were fine however, on the second morning of our 2 night stay we were moved out of our room to accommodate some Arsenal footballers but the staff insisted it was due to an electrical fault! We questioned them as to why there was now a private security guard outside our former room, but they still stuck to their story! We do not appreciate being lied to. This also meant that the gym was out of use the next day as well, I assume this was to accommodate the footballers, again. They did compensate us with a bottle of champagne in our room, breakfast and a late check out, but it was still annoying as it was my husband's birthday that day and we had opened presents and cards in our room and it rather spoilt the day to have them all moved whilst we were out. It is unlikely that we would recommend the hotel to anyone or to visit again."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t. The lady argued saying there was and said in regards to the phone not working- most hotels don’t have phones anymore anyway. When she came to our room, she finally agreed we indeed did not have a fan. One was delivered- but it literally just moved the hot air around. The fan stopped working in the middle of the night and our toilet was on constant flush. Location wise, this hotel is great. But this hotel needs serious maintenance and updating and until this is done, I’d personally avoid."

"First look it’s clean , but our room on the bed base was stained on the side . All garden furniture needed wiping down , garden maintenance needed more work . On the whole ok but definitely needs some TLC . Some furniture in restaurant very shabby also ashtray outside was overflowing and wasn’t emptied the whole time we were there ."
