"We checked in at dusk and were greeted once we ring the outside bell because there wasn’t an attendant visible to us but they had camera to see outside. We didn’t wait long at all. The attendant gave me a hard time at checkout even though I had reservations through Expedia and my ID. The card I was using didn’t have my name printed on it"

"This property was clean, the room was well prepared. Here are my concerns which have no reflection on the employees: the rooms are not listed, the ceramic floors in the bathroom are cracked, there are no anti slip treads in the shower and the main outlet for TV and microwave plug ins needs repacked no electricity in the outlet. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and for one night, the fee was reasonable. Great location"

"Best Western Seaside was a great overnight stay. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and attentive. The beach is right across the street. We did not use the breakfast buffet or the pool/hot tub. I would recommend for a short stay in St. Augustine Beach. Check out Cafe Eleven down the road. Great food, service and music events."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. Our first stay (11/2025) was absolutely amazing so we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. When we arrived the front desk over night staff was rude and unhelpful. When we asked for a late check out (due to arriving at 1:30 am) she stated it would be an extra $25 upcharge, although on the website it stated there is a $0 upcharge for late check out. Our room smelled HEAVY of cat urine/cat liter, our hotel phones were not working, and there was mold on the shower door/shower floor. We paid almost $400 for a one night stay in room for 6 people but had 3 towels in the bathroom for all of us to share. All this was mentioned to the front desk staff in the morning and all that was provided was an apology. The amenities were good- breakfast, gym, staff at the pool were very friendly and the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately due to inconsistency in experiences from one stay to another and condition of the hotel room, we will not be coming back. "

"There is no club house and no fitness center at this accommodation. The unit was exceptionally clean. The bathroom door is concerning as it locks when you close it and then can only be opened from the outside. Luckily my daughter had her phone with her when she got locked in, and could call for help. This should be looked into before any small children stay in this unit."
