Iberostar Selection Es Trenc

10/10 Excellent

"We had a very nice stay overall at the Iberostar Selection Es Trenc. There was some confusion with our reservation at check-in, and we also experienced an issue with the air conditioning in our room. However, the staff worked to resolve both situations and the AC was repaired during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, about 13 minutes from Es Trenc beach, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Despite the initial issues, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the staff’s efforts to help resolve everything. We had a great vacation overall and would consider staying here again."

"Nous étions dans la section appartement, ce qui convenait parfaitement à notre type de voyage. Dans l’ensemble, notre séjour a été agréable, sans toutefois être exceptionnel, à l’exception de l’emplacement qui est véritablement le grand point fort de l’établissement. La vue est magnifique et l’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité des plus belles calas, avec un accès facile aux villes environnantes ainsi qu’aux routes principales. C’est honnêtement l’endroit parfait pour maximiser la découverte de l’île de Mallorca. Le stationnement public est pratique en dehors des périodes achalandées, ce qui a bien fonctionné pour nous. Par contre, durant la journée, lorsque la plage est très fréquentée, cela peut rapidement devenir compliqué. L’appartement lui-même était correct, sans plus, mais il demeurait cohérent avec le prix payé et nos attentes. Les heures d’ouverture du restaurant de l’hôtel sont toutefois moins adaptées au rythme de vie touristique et surtout différentes de plusieurs restaurants espagnols auxquels nous sommes habitués, qui ouvrent généralement plus tard en soirée. Le service reflète également notre impression générale : bon, mais pas exceptionnel."

"Extremely disappointing experience and absolutely not reflective of the branding, price point or photos online. The hotel felt chaotic, poorly maintained and far from the luxury boutique escape it claims to be. Cleanliness and hygiene were a major issue throughout our stay - including hairs in room and mouldy water bottle provided in our room. The most concerning incident happened at 7am when a large flower tile attached to the ceiling crashed down onto the outdoor seating on out balcony, waking us up suddenly. A serious safety concern and completely unacceptable. Service was inexperienced, sloppy and unhelpful throughout. Common areas were untidy, the food was very average, and the overall atmosphere lacked any sense of refinement or comfort. Ironically, the gym was probably the best facility - but even that was dirty and poorly maintained. We booked this as a special birthday weekend and ended up leaving early and relocating to Palma because the hotel simply did not feel clean, safe or relaxing. Would not return or recommend."

"Outstanding resort in every way . Stunning place with wonderful facilities and lots of pools . Beautifully clean and well maintained .the staff are the real jewel in the crown though . They go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and they are truly lovely . Right from check in with out deluxe concierge Miriam , we had a flawless experience and enjoyed the delicious food , wine and cocktails . The seasons bar is amazing and the staff there go out of their way to spoil you . We felt very lucky to have them . The spa is beautiful and very peaceful . Highly recommend to anyone looking to be spoiled and have a special holiday . "

Universal Hotel Romantica

"After spending 7 nights in Mallorca, staying at 4 different 4 star hotels all over the island, I am giving this honest review whilst comparing the standards of all 4 of the hotels that we stayed in. Unfortunately I have to rate this hotel at the bottom of that list of 4 for the following reasons. The first is the lack of parking. There is no car park and very limited street parking. We had to drive around the town twice before finally finding a space which was not even very close to the hotel. Next was reception. We were told on check-in that the sky bar was closed but we could go and take photos if we wanted. The sky bar was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel and so this news came as a massive disappointment. However, the information was misleading because it turned out it was open later that evening and the next evening. Also, we booked a Suite which had a coffee maker and we were provided with 2 coffee pods"
