"Worth every dollar/ euro! I travel a lot for work in Asia, Africa and Europe, and have spent my fair share in many properties. The Fera hotel is simply gorgeous and its staff are amazing. From the warm, welcoming and professional team at reception to the cooks and waiters offering sumptuous breakfasts and lunch each day to the maids who left no detail overlooked while cleaning our room to the rooftop bartender who kept us hydrated and happy each afternoon through sunset. The building itself has been lovingly restored. We loved the details of our Superior room and its views of the city; the eye-catching and beautifully designed common areas (lobby, restaurant, rooftop pool); the incredible sunset views from the rooftop each evening; and even small details like the fragrant satchels of lavender left next to our pillows during each evening's downturn service. The hotel itself is ideally located in the Old Town with fantastic restaurants nearby and only 10 minutes from the Barra beach neighborhood. Highly recommend!"

"A decent budget hotel in a safe neighborhood and a walking distance to Pelourinho. We loved their breakfast with a wide variety of selections. The restaurant also has a good menu for room service with very tasty food. Entire staff were amazing!!!"

"Amazing cost-benefit, you're in the heart of Salvador Carnival for the Barra-Ondina circuit. There are also good options to eat, very close to Shopping Barra, supermarkets, and drugstores. The hotel's structure is not the most modern or well maintained, but it is not an issue if you don't care about it. Also, be aware that depending on the floor, you may hear significant street noise."
