"Ideal hotel for visiting historic Ypres. The town square, with all it's restaurants and bars, is a 5-10 minute walk and the hotel has plenty of free parking. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could need. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. This was my second stay and the Ariane would be my choice if I visit Ypres again."

"Just stayed one night here for the Rugby and only slept here. It was a clean spacious room and reception let me check in to my room at 1pm. It is ten minute walk to the metro station and Lidl’s is opposite."

"Amazing hotel. We were wary having read some reviews (after we'd booked) especially regarding the friendliness of the staff and the language barrier. Our French is nowhere near good enough and we thought we'd struggle. We needn't have worried and should have paid more attention to the positive reviews. The hotel staff were incredibly polite and super friendly, they couldn't have done enough and even helped with our poor attempt at speaking their language. As for the hotel, the room was lovely. Everything you'd hope for from an historic chateau. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water every day. The pool was beautiful and very welcoming after our morning run. There were sun loungers around the pool and on a small patio area so you can enjoy the afternoon sun. The hotel restaurant looked lovely but we didn't plan ahead so they were fully booked. We ate locally at Chez Ninie and can definitely recommend it. Other than that, you would need to go into St Omer for dinner, although you are spoiled for choice in the centre. This is a superb hotel. We can't really fault it. We will definitely be returning. "
